I have known about Shadow People for a while now. People who have been researching them have said that they live in our lives but they just move way to fast for us to see them. That wouldn't explain how we could see them though.
Anyways early morning yesterday my brother claimed to see one. He said he woke up this morning and from the door way to his room there is a mirror. For a couple of mintues he saw a figure in the doorway and everytime it would come across the whole mirror would turn black. It happened for a while until he heard a low scream.
He got up to check my mom and aunt but they were ok. It was werid because when my cousin use to live in that house when he was little he also said he saw a shadow he named him Ted. Thing is my mom never told my little brother because she didn't want to scare him.
SPOOKY!!

I'm sure science has an answer for this too.
Wait a bit, they'll be right here.

Have none of you read anything about archetypes. Look up jung and archetypes.

I may have been reading Jung before you were born if you are of average Shroomery age.
If not you can be sure I have read a little Jung when I was.

This is indeed an old thread. But I have to admit that I have had similar experiences, though I was not at the time intoxicated or paranoid.
An evening spent near some mass burial grounds of Calusa indians yeilded a queer sensation of awareness. Some kind of conciousness on a massive scale very very very aware. The more my associate and myself noticed this strange air, the more intense it became, until we suddenly realised that all noise in the forest had stopped, even though we were being more silent than ever, and were definately not the cause of it.
We both sensed movements that were inperceivable to the eyes in the surrounding area, like a mass group of sneaking subtle masses that were only felt not seen. The same feeling I get when someone is watching me across a room.
I did not know that they were mass burial mounds until I embarrassingly admited this intense experience to a local professor(half jokingly so I did not look the ass). I did not go there to do anything aside from walk around innocently and romantically in the woods at night. I am NOT supersticious, but I know that something was going on that had nothing or very little to do with me, and whatever it was, it was definately of one spiritual sort or another.
ideas?

I get that feeling every once in a while. Sometimes when I feel like that... I run. Just scratching an itch... nothing more.

One day, not that long ago i was watching tv and oddly (since i have good reception) the picture went all scrambled and when it cleared up i noticed that it was a different channel. And on that channel a story was being shown about a guy advocating against a prescription drug that causes serious side affects including depression and suicide not yet known to the users. I used to be on that medication and that moment has changed me forever because i was deeply affected by my use of the drug and to that day had never known why my life had been so degraded... I was so happy there was a reason why i felt so bad.. i cried knowing that it wasn't my fault.. And i am now a much happier person..... true story

last summer, there were 2 nights one after the other when i would set my alarm clock and wake up the next morning to find that it had been shut off. my parents just said i must have turned it off in my sleep, but in order to do that id have to sit up and stretch over the the dresser where the clock was, also, it was a switch thing, and is somewhat sensitive when you push it, so if i shut it off i probbly would have pushed it too hard making it go into the "on" position.anyways, i was talking to a friend the next week and she was telling me about how 2 nights the previous week she had seen a strange shadow over her bed...we figured out that her shadow incidents and my clock incidents happend on the same night....just a strange coincidence? or was evil lurking around? muahahhaha

Been seeing them since i can remember. I believe in another post a few months ago I said the same thing and got romped by good ol' Swam. They don't feel bad to me, at least not mine . They're just around, and somewhat curious. Since everyone else has a story lemme share as well. Last tuesday in my house, I have a glass sculpture weighing about 10 lbs or so, thick, heavy glass, no its not a bong!! which somehow moved 2 rooms over (about 20 feet) and broke witha wicked loud SLAM!!!!! in my kitchen. At first I thought someone threw a brick through the window (been having neighbor problems.) anyway, I was the only person in the house all week, and NOONE would have dared tresspass on my 100 lb German Sheppard. I told my mom about it awhile later, and told her that ive always felt that something was in our house, and she said she felt the same exact way. Ive also seen the shadows at the university, and in friends' houses. daytime and night. Sometimes they're not shadow, but balls of light or streaks of light sometimes they have colors or just light. theyre are things around us at all times some nice, some not so. but it has nothing to do with dreams, or vision problems, or mental illness..we're talking about wide awake, perfectly sane, 20/20 vision, no brain tumors or chemical imbalances, just daily experiences here.
-------------------- ================================================So what's your peace of mind huh? A swiss watch? leasin' a Lex on credit? all the pussy and liquor a nigga can get..put together this puzzle, but my pieces won't fit.. {Ras kass}
