I hadn't thought of that before, but now that you mention it I do think that is a distinct possibility - the Republicans splitting off into the far-Right and center-Right.

Giuliani 26% Rice 24% McCain 21% (Rasmussen)


Clinton 43% Gore 14% Edwards 13% Kerry 10%

the republicans wont ever let the libertarian movement gain momentum. even fox , which is supposedly conservative wont give them air. republicans saw what the green party did to the dems in 2000. im sure they realize the libertarians could do the same to them

I agree about the green party,
Its the voice that wants to be heard, but just never gets heard because no one more then a state govener will care about. Controversy spreads, but the liberal issues that will be around in 08 will be tough. gay marriage, uh will the marijuana idea ever get on the ballet at the federal leval.
There idea's just scare the nations vote to the other side.
Lets face it, republicans vote. We can't get the hispanic, asian, african, or young vote.
It is becoming "cool to vote".
