How can anyone vote for a Democrat?

Written by a man named Phil Brennan.

"How can any African-American ? any African-American ? ever vote Democrat?

"How can any farmer ? any farmer ? ever vote Democrat?

"For that matter, how can any parent, any small businessman, any American who owns real property, any American who values his or her constitutional rights, anyone victimized by predatory trial lawyers, any dedicated teacher who wants to teach effectively, just about any American ever vote Democrat.

"Aside from the fact that the Democratic Party is today more of a criminal conspiracy than a political organization, each of those cited above have every reason to despise what has become of the once proud and patriotic Democratic Party ? the party that once fought valiantly for immigrants, for the exploited American working man, and against elitist tycoons, bigots and foreign tyrants, but has now become their willing tool.

"I write as a member of a family with roots deep in the Democratic Party. Among my forebears were Democrat party officials, the Democrat leader of the city of Brooklyn, a New York State Supreme Court justice first appointed to the bench by then-Governor Franklin D. Roosevelt ? a man he grew to despise as FDR waded ever deeper into the socialist swamp, taking the nation with him, a mid-1860s-1870s New York County comptroller and sheriff, etc. They were Democrats to the core.

"I write today as a member of an extended family whose members abhor a Democratic Party which has betrayed its noble heritage and blackened its name forever.

"How can any practicing Christian vote Democrat?

"How can any practicing Christian vote for a party whose hands are covered with the blood of 40 million unborn victims of abortion ? a horror which survives and continues to kill the innocent unborn only because most Democrat officials protect an abortion industry whose supporters contribute vast sums to the party and its candidates.

"The Democratic Party is so deeply committed to protecting those involved in this murderous practice that it once refused to let one of its leading officials, a sitting governor, speak at its national convention simply because he was a dedicated foe of the baby-killing industry and might attack the party's abortion industry supporters from the podium if permitted to air his views before the national TV audience.

"In recent months it has been revealed that the body parts of the victims of partial-birth abortion are being marketed by the abortuaries where this unspeakable crime is committed. Yet every effort, state or national, to block this hideous form of infanticide for profit has been blocked by the Democrat in the White House and his unscrupulous Democrat allies in Congress.

"How can any practicing Christian ever vote Democrat?

"How can any African-American vote Democrat?

"For the better part of the 20th century the Democratic Party has cynically exploited black voters, making promises it never fulfills while supporting policies designed to keep vast numbers of black Americans in poverty and ignorance and in thrall to the party and the big-government leviathan the Democratic Party has created and sustained.

"It has been the shameful policy of the Democratic Party to promote racial discord, setting white against black, while posing as a foe of the very racism from which it hopes to benefit.

"How can any farmer vote Democrat?

"How can any farmer support a party which has put the interests of America's farmers below those of the globalists whose policies are beggaring U.S. growers in favor of foreign agricultural interests.

"How can any parent vote Democrat when that party supports the interests of big government over the rights of parents, or small businessmen who are strangled by government regulations wound around their necks while the tycoons of the elitist multinational companies get favored treatment from the regulators.

"How can any American who cherishes his or her constitutional rights vote Democrat when that party conspires to violate or ignore the restraints placed on government by the Constitution, regularly tramples on the rights of individual citizens, and sets the interests of big government above those of the citizenry.

"How can any dedicated teacher who wants to teach effectively vote Democrat when that party has sold itself to the bloated teachers unions, whose policies have created a national school system which is turning out hordes of functional illiterates ignorant of the most basic forms of knowledge of everything from the English language to their own history and the history of the world.

"How can any American vote Democrat when that party has sold itself lock, stock and barrel to the predatory trial lawyers of America, whose assaults on American industry have cost every American the price of paying the bloated settlements obtained by these legal vultures.

"For 40 years, the Democrats controlled the Congress. During those 40 years Capitol Hill was a nest of thieves, demagogues, power-crazed tyrants and assorted socialist plotters. From the onset of the Roosevelt administration down to the present day, the Democratic Party has become the instrument of a tyrannical and corrupt socialist conspiracy whose policies have reduced Americans to a state of near-subservience to a government which kills the unborn, confiscates much of the earnings of working Americans through unjust taxation designed to buy votes with government programs, makes common cause with dictatorial regimes, bombs the innocent civilians of a sovereign nation in the name of a New World Order, and incinerates children or shoots them in places like Waco and Ruby Ridge.

"How in the name of God can any decent American vote for this party? Ever?"

The American people should be asked these questions over and over again between now and November.

The answer is simple, you can't. If you're a jew or a christian and you vote for pro-death candidates (primarily democrats but some GOP too) I believe you have a share of the blood on your hands. If you vote democrat you vote for murdering innocents. And it is only because of the efforts of powerful pro-death democrats that this holocaust is completely legal, make no mistake about it.

Since Roe Vs. Wade over 42 million babies have been murdered through abortion. In just the time it will take me to complete this post an average of 8-10 babies will have been murdered. If you knowingly vote for these evil fiends that made legal this slaughter I believe you will share in the responsibility for it, unless you repent of your sins and change.

(Translation from the Jewish Publication Society )Proverbs24:
10 If you showed yourself slack in time of trouble,
Wanting in power,
11 If you have refrained from rescuing those taken off to death,
Those condemned to slaughter-
12 If you say, "We knew nothing of it,"
Surely He who fathoms hearts will discern [the truth],
He who watches over your life will know it,
And He will pay each man as he deserves.

Democrat..Republican..they are both the same thing...led by equally greedy assholes. It's time for a change...I'm not saying the green party is the answer either, but ya gotta start somewhere.

That's like the German people saying they liked Hitler because Stalin was so bad.

The lesser of two evils is still evil.

Al Gore is just as stupid as George Bush, he's a career politician born into a wealthy political family.

People who think the Democrats can solve problems have no grasp of history, can you say "War on Poverty?" How about Viet Nam? What did the last Democratic administration do to restore your rights taken away in the war on drugs? What were they doing with over 900 FBI files? How did they handle the incineration of innocent women and children in Waco? Why was a pharmaceutical factory bombed in the Sudan with not so much as an apology after the alleged 'mistake'? Why were they directing the IRS to audit political opponents? Isn't this corruption?

Why would anyone in his right mind vote to give power to a person who lusts for power? You vote to give someone the power to start a nuclear war, destroy the economy and draft your friends and family to face death in foreign lands. This is a person who you most likely have never met, and if you have, chances are that you never really got to know him, and you predicate your desire to vote on him based on how appealing his lies seem to you. Madness, pure madness...

IT DOESN"T MATTER WHICH ONE OF US YOU VOTE FOR, EITHER WAY YOUR PLANET IS DOOMED; DOOMED.
- sad, but true...
How can anyone vote for a republican? pro-corporate, bigoted, pro-wealthInThePocketOfWealthy, anti-environment.. on and on..
I cast my vote against the system altogether..
It's a shame that this country cannot even follow its own bill of rights.
Take the recient news on the pledge of allegiance. It is a clear violation of our bill of rights, as is money and any other government document with such statements on it. There is no logical arguement that can be made to the contrary (ok, I'll loosen that statement a bit, I have never heard of an even _remotely_ logical argument).
sigh.

Actually if you read the 1st ammendment.... "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.".... it only says the government can not prohibit the practise of religon, nor may there be a state sponsored religon. It does NOT say there can be no acknowledgement that this country was founded with religous principles in mind, nor does it say that all references to religon must be stricken.

The so called "seperation" of church and state is something dreamed up by a too liberal court.

Now, keep in mind that I am an atheist. I most certainly do NOT believe in God. I have no trouble respecting the rights of others to do so. If some take comfort in believing in a God, more power to them. I do not wish to take that from them, any more than I would want to be forced to attend services. I have no trouble with the "one nation under God" portion of the pledge. I would rather it hadn't been changed, but it has and most likely will never be changed back. To those who have trouble with the mere mention of God, such as on our currency, I say to you... don't you think there are bigger problems to worry about?

As for voting for Democrats, I believe the main thrust of the Republican agenda is... do for yourself rather than asking others to do for you. I belive the main thrust of Democrats is... we'll take care of you since you're incapable of doing so for yourself.

For the most part I vote Democrat. I'm a moderate, certainly not a radical. I tend to vote democrat because some of the issues I feel strongly for it seems as though the Republican party feels strongly against. The environment is a big issue for me. I think that just setting aside national parks etc is hardly enough. It does little good to set asside tracks of land if you are just going to mar the rest of the world. Before all of the recent accounting scandals I did not really trust big business, perhaps it was the result of coming from a small town. So I really take issue with putting business over the environment.

I try not to restrict myself to party lines and I can't say that I never would vote for a republican candidate. I believe I have once or twice (I just clicked over 21 so my voting experience is limited). I never abstain from a vote because I am lucky enough to live in a nation where I can take part in my government. I vote for the candidate whom I most agree with. Not voting gives you no voice. I grew up in one of the most highly conservative states in the nation, and in one of the most conservative counties within that state. We aren't talking about your average Republican, but your typical bible thumping right-wing radical. It is these people whom I fear the most.

It certainly seems unfair to lay blame on all of the past 60 year's bad events on the democratic congress. The Democratic party is rather different than it was 60 years ago, almost as different as it was 120 years ago. There are 3 branches of government, each is responsible for what goes on in this country. It was set up that way on purpose. Politicians on both sides do a lot of finger pointing. Rarely I see anyone taking responsiblilty. Nobody want to have blood on their hands, but neither party is clean. Each has done their part in restricting freedoms, shedding the blood of its children, etc. There is enough blame to go around.

All in all I see a lot of corruption in the government. The current presidency is certainly just as guilty as any of the past. I think a lot of it has to do with which issues you take issue with. I find it it amazing that Clinton's reported pot use was a lot bigger of an issue than Bush's cocaine use and DUI. Perhaps we were all a little jaded after Clinton. Who knows.

Well I have rambled for some time. I'm not sure if what I just typed is going to make any sence. I haven't slept in about 40 hrs or so, and I am going to try and go to bed shortly. If I said anything extremly retarded, extreme gaps in logic, forgive me. The ol noggin isn't functioning too well at the moment.
