How you confused bridging a breech of misunderstanding with a protest is beyond me. No one is protesting this forum to NOT be as it is and always has been. Most respect its right to be as it is. I do. Its clear how many enjoy a spiritual philosophical debate forum. I do to sometimes. I like that it is as it was.

Some just wanted a different vibe and flow is all. Can people respect that in kind and quit protesting for the alternate forum to be torn down?

Pretty simple to engage in mutual respect and consideration it should be. Perhaps not for some.

In responce to your second reply;

So you are concerned about people with irrational beleifs who think its a good idea to kill themselves for something better like the heavens gate people did. How many  suicide posts that go up in here and the mental health forum do you and others who preach that move in to help challenge their irrational beleifs with?

Walk the talk and it will be more beleivable.

How many people here talk about unibombing? There's lot of hate and wish to harm others being discussed in one shroomery forum. How many of you that preach that are in their challenging them with their irrational beleifs to want to cause harm to others?

So what? Its cool when shroomery members torch cats and beat people to a pulp for fun but those pacificst in S&P are like the unibomber with their irrational beleifs? :what:

if you want to challenge irrational beleifs related to suicide cults and terrorising, there are shitloads of them that I see go unchecked around here and the harmless stuff just gets challenged. Some of you play all tough to go after non real threats and shy away from takling the real ones.

A lot you talk that talk, and the people who qualify to be challenged with irrational beleifs that can cause harm to themselves and others are ignored by the same people who talk the talk.

I'm calling BS on a lot of you who sing that song. Until I see you helping people who want to commit suicide here, and help people who act to harm others in other forums, I think you're full of it.

Noone has yet been able to even answer what is and is not rational thinking anyway.

You can't because its relative to ones goals, experiences and perspective. If ones goal is to free themselves from terminal pain then suicide is a pretty rational thought.

If ones goal is to destroy and harm in the name of hate, then its rational for them to hate and harm others.

Rationality is a very subjective and relative thing. Who here thinks they can be the judge of it for everyone?

Sorry, the only person who is going to decide what is rational for me to do and think and feel is ME.

I think its funny how many people here want to control others in accordance to their ideals of what is and is not rational based on their subjective and relative beleifs, experiences and view of the world.

if people want to play control the rationailty of others they can do that here.

I only spoke up because Ped, wants the other forum to come down.

Who here do you honestly feel plans to gas subways?

If you are truly that concerned, why are you not hanging out at muslim terrorist forums? Why arn't you puroosing the other forums looking for people with hateful, vengeful, destructive and malicious tendancies and trying to help them become more "rational"?

HOT AIR from you Mush and anyone else who says that stuff until they start addressing the REAL threats and detriments to themselves and society around here and not the pacifist people who feel bad and guilty for squishing a bug on accident.

Well, you know... a nominee for anything should have a good track record. With under 2000 posts in 6 years, Ped is barely here :smirk:

Well maybe he only says something when he really has something to say. Not like me for instance.

"People who like to create debate conflict are not people in peace and they are not people who are comfortable in a place of peace and have to cause chaos and disruption to get into their comfort zone."

You are expressing the same intolerance that you criticise. Those who like to debate are not allied to the forces of chaos. They merely seek truth. Those who do not question the self seek delusion.

Who's truth?

How can subjective truth be wrong?

Are you going to argue with me that I really don't think Porche's are truley sexy cars? Do want to tell me how I should feel about them? Should I feel about them the way you do to be "right" about how I feel about Porche's?

If I claim that a porche is not a car but a donut then yes, go for it. That's an objective truth that can be proven.

Someone who wants to argue over the truth of anothers opinions or the intangible realities and get to whose opinion or view or experience is right and whose is wrong is probably not a person at peace in the moment and looking for something to release some pent up hostility or frustration over OR, they are just looking to fuck around and see if they can push buttons for fun because they are bored.

I'm sure I've done it here myself more times then I can remember.

That's my opinion. If you have another one, thats fine with me.

Some people have their own ways of getting to their truths that do not involve debate with others but involve, testing stuff out for themselves. They come for other reasons. Why is it assumed that all people who come here are looking to debate the truth?

The truth is, granny pants are funny. Or is that my truth? Or is it the truth of my opinion about granny pants?

Here, you get a cookie
