hehehe...I once actually considered making a thread in S&P about the philosophical implications of shit, but I decided against it, as I just couldn't think of anything to say with a straight face.

The KEY is making sure there is NO RIVALRY between the forums. And, a reason for both to exist.

But we can have rival co-ed softball teams...

Rivalry won't happen if there is respect for the proposed integrity of the two forums reasons for existing.

That lack of respect has probably been the underlying issue all along.

It should be easy for the mods of each forum to figure out, who can't show that respect and take care of things. There will be no more reasons for excuses.

Poster A, "This is also the philosophy forum, "nay nay wah wah"

Poster B "This is also the spirituality forum "nay nay wah wah"

Now each has a home and hopefully there will be no more crying.

Each forum should have mods with a bias for upholding the integrity of each forum. And for those who show disrespect to either, show them the door. There will be no more escape clauses relating to the lack of clarity of what a philosophically anti-spirituality Spirituality forum is suppose to be about or arguments of mod bias's and unfairness.

When two kids fight over one ball, don't know how to share it and take turns and respect the turn rights of the other, it's neat to see what happens when you give them each their own ball to play with.

Sometimes, they both are content and all is well.

Sometimes, one is content and the other gets more pissy because they wanted a reason to fight with and over power the other kid. They go to take it from them anyway when they already have their own. It's hilarious and sort of sad.

Who will be running into which forum doing just that?

I can see it now, like those kids who get extra amped and clever when their reason to fight, take away and over power is removed.

"It is my spiritual path to kill spirituality so I have a right to be here and practice my spirituality."

"It is my personal religious beleif that all organised religion must parish, so it is my right to practice my religion here."


It'll be easier to identify and weed out those whose intent is to come here in disrespect of the members and the community if there are actually any. Maybe there will be none, and maybe there never was and it was all a bunch of confusion over the lack of clarity in S&P as it is. Boy that would be sweeeeeeeeeeet.
