Mushroom Cookies

a while back nobody seemed confident that mushroom cookies would work out so i baked a batch today. actually, only 6. i grinded 9 grams of eq's and mixed it with the batter and voila-done! for all you naysayers out there, i will either join you or prove you wrong. i plan to have a cookie or two or three tonight and i will let you know the results. Peace.

Heat killed much of the psilocybin...But there should be some in there...

Grind up and make with some Good Earth spice tea. You won't even have a hint of the taste. Baking cookies at 350, typical temperature, will definitely kill some of the psilocybin.

If you can bake pizze with mushrooms on (and you can) then this could be done too. Dont cookies only take 10-20 minutes or something? Psilocin breaks down easily when the mushies dry but psilocybin is pretty resilant. Get back to us on the result.

A quick search through TIHKAL and the internet, and I can't find any good source, on the Marquis temperature of 4-HO-DMT, or a temp @ which it vaporizes..

Not to mention Shadow of FSRC said that he dries his mush on any old setting of his dehydrator, and GNIOM defrosts his in the microwave!

I think more tests should be done, concerning how 4-ho-DMT stands up to different temp. ranges..

I'm very curious to see if this is an effective means of consumption!

Actually... I said I like to cook mushies on pizza at 350 degrees, and have never noticed any loss.
I also said that dehydrator temps on high would do no damage. The hottest one I've ever seen was only around 160 degrees.

So..... Enjoy the cookies LibertyCapper :laugh:

just so everyone knows, the mushroom cookies I ate lacked nothing in potency and i would recommend cookies as a preferred palatable method of ingestion

I wonder if no-bakes would decrease the breakdown of psilocin, as you don't bake them lol. Of course, you have to boil the mixture to make it, but maybe you could wait for the mixture to cool a little before mixing the ground mushrooms in and pouring it into cookies?

RICE CRISPY TREATS!

I usually grind my aborts into a fine powder and add them to a batch of rice crispy treats as the melted marshmallows begin to cool. I notice very little, if any breakdown of potency. The mushrooms are only exposed to low amounts of heat for a short period of time.

Give it a try.....Super easy to control dosage, tastes yummy, and good to take along when traveling.
