You should check under the gourmet/edible mushrooms board...pretty sure I saw someone say that they grew portabellas with a pf tek...

yeah then you take those ports, egg and bread them, then fry em in oil till golden brown on both sides, add some mozz and parm cheese, bake in the oven till cheese melts, add some marinara sause and a side of pasta and your all set!

You could try but the brf/verm tek is really designed for just the one specie, Psilcoybe cubensis.

Why not order a normal culture of something from Fungi Perfecti and then call the cubensis stuff 'experiments'?
