Mummy Mold?

Does anyone know anything about how common mummy mold is? I've recently started a new kit, and in the middle of the first yield it started showing some of the key characteristics: an overgrowth of mycelium at the base of the stem, and dwarfed caps. Also, the mycelium seems to be accumulating moisture at the top of the casing. Can someone please let me know the difference between mummy and the simple problem of over-humidification? If there is a chance that it is mummy mold, what are the risks of ingesting it? Thanks...

myc growing abundantly at the base of the stipe can be a sign of too much humidity i believe.. as for the dwarved caps, i cannot say. i've never had experience with that sort of mold.

You're right about the humidity idiotek. Dwarved caps might be due to high concentrations of CO2, fan more.
Anyway, wait a little more and see how it turns out.
