Petition to have Hanky's ban reduced to suspension

We the community of Shroomery ask politely that the Administration give Hanky one final chance and reduce his ban to a suspension. He has shown remorse and will follow the rules of the forum. We understand he has broken rules multiple times in the past but given one last chance he will not let you down.

I don't agree with a permaban. The most he should have got was a 24 hour ban, but even that would be wrong IMO. Hanky is a valued asset to this community. Fer real.

I agree with permabanning users for threatening people, endangering peoples' privacy, trying to sell drugs, spamming, scamming,(most) puppeteering and disagreeing with me.

But not for posting a pic of a dude and a chicken having sex. Especially when it's posted by a very beloved user, in a forum that is not visible to unreged visitors, is at the bottom of the boards and is clearly labeled with a warning about disturbing material.

Come on, Banno, lighten up.

I totally agree with Gijith

I know Anno is reasonable and will see by so many threads and bitching that Hanky is a big part of OTD and shouldnt be banned. Come on Anno dont let me down bro I know you can do us this one favor ....he will be good from now on he promised.

Also I would like to suggest the mods consider only taking action when someone complains about the picture....I mean no one in there was really offended and the thread would have died eventually. I would only take action when people complain but this refers only to OTD.

? No posting of bestiality/scat pics/shock pics/underage nudity. -- A link to shock images is ok, with an appropriate warning, but underage nudity will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

at what point would you get fed up with it, lets say it's a 1 week cap on posting
scat/beastiality pics, how many times do you feel a single user can get a 1 week
ban before you feel that their whole purpose is simply to piss you off.

I heard 'you could have warned me' regarding KoTT and the photo of my wife and I,
well, KoTT was warned when he posted Alakonas pics, Sykos and a couple of others
did he need a warning for each event, each person or were the ones he recieved plenty

I think the ban would have to be longer than one week to deter the member from doing it over and over. I'd say 3 weeks max on petty offenses.

About your warning question, I'd say one warning would cover all of those offenses at once. I would have banned him if he continued after I warned him.
