according to timothy learoy you dream for like 3 seconds or so which fells like a life time until the eltrodes and what not in your brain stop firing... probably around the time you enter the great colective conciousness

Well first, all your soft tissue decomposes; then your widow celebrates after the reading of the will by drinking champagne and fucking your lawyer on the hood of your Jaguar...

I have covered this in-depth way too many times. The question itself, while semantically sound, does not make sense.

Damn straight. That would be the life I want for my wife after I die. Don't want any sad faces at my funeral.

when you die you get a choice of an escalator or a big poofy cloud to take you to heaven where the Jerry Garcia band is now playing...

Unless you're a republican. Republicans all goto hell via trapdoor to be punished by Terry Schavio and Johnny Cochran.

 life just goes on like Swami said.

!!!! you mean theirs no reward for being "good", and their is no land of milk and honey, and people won't live forever, speak the same language, skip instead of walk, all use proper grammer, and be perfect in every way?

 Which seems more realistic? Apply the notion to a dead computer hardrive... where does the information go when it's kapput, and fucked up? Does it go someplace else... or does it stay on the same material it was made of? (you can gain info from it still, unlike humans)

Suppose that humans create artificial life eventually, and we store information, and behavioral patterns (in way of learning) in a similar manner... Will they also go to heaven as a result of their ability to perfectly emulate our behavior? (Providing it's assumed that they are capable of doing such)

That is unless.... we choose to connect their existing memories into a computer database and simulate idealism in terms of what we've provided in terms of autonomous though and said entities views of the heights of idealism.

Which further is inline with "The Matrix" type of belief of interconnected experience through a contrived simulation... Which would suggest that life is like the "Sims?" and everything is predetermined to a degree and we're all given insight as to what it is by virtue of being encapsulated into a mindfuck of a convincing environment which seems real... that is of course.... insane.

You get to sit there in a life review kicking yourself in the ass for all you wish you would've done differently and feel guilty about-hell. Then, you begin to realize all that you learned in the process of that review from the bigger picture and brighten-heaven.

Whatever virtual hell one may experience on the other side, it's self induced by the guilt we bring with us and it's temporary.

hell on earth= unforgiveness, guilt/blame self punishment/punishing-hate, anger, fear

heaven on earth= forgiveness, seeing the big picture, brightening-acceptance, joy, love.

Take care of it here and now and there's nothing to worry about. Life on planet earth is like the Broadway of the cosmos. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.

OK, I've made it here. Now how do I make it on mars? And why do I envision you in fishnet stockings, top hat, coat-tails and walking stick? (shades of Liza Minelli in her prime)

If you're blue and you don't know
where to go to why don't you go
where fashion sits
Puttin' on the Ritz
Different types who wear a day
coat pants with stripes and cutaway
coat perfect fits
Puttin' on the Ritz
Dressed up like a million-dollar trooper
Tryin' hard to look like Gary Cooper (super duper)
Come let's mix where Rockefellers
walk with sticks or um-ber-ellas
in their mitts
Puttin' on the Ritz

Have you seen the well-to-doUp and down Park AvenueOn that famous thoroughfareWith their noses in the airHigh hats, and arrow collarsWhite spats, and lots of dollarsSpending every dimeFor a wonderful time

If you're blue and you don't know

Move...

Gotta dance

If you were buried into the ground most likely you will become soil and a part of the earth. Soon later to be eaten by tiny organisms. Then soon after that the organisms will evolve into some other creation.

The End.
