When people die in your life they just leave the reality you are in but they continue on the pathway they are on. They don't think they have died but your paths are no longer going in the same direction.
How do you know this?
I say that death is like a dreamless, deep sleep that you never wake up from (or experience) because based on human logic and observations that's as far as we know. After somebody dies, they never again respond. We can see that the brain is the center of the ego and consciousness because by damaging the brain, the person loses consciousness and the ego, such as in comas and vegetative states. So if the brain dies and rots away, according to this observations and evidence we can say that all consciousness, ego and life (except for bacteria and worms) end inside that organism which dies.
Many people make up pseudoscientific ideas, and I constantly wonder where they pull these from. Theories require evidence and logic, not simply telling people things that are unsupported by any observations.

Yeah there's no sense in worrying about something that you cannot avoid, but it's still fun to think about wondering what happens when you die, as in a third-person point of view.
I tend to have more of a Buddhist outlook on life/death these days....

You are a conposition of many "dead" beings that lived before you.
Thats why we are all connected... to everything. We can't die because matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be reconstructed into different chemicals and such. Technically we are not dying, we are recycling
I swear, you took the words right from my mouth.
I have thought of this so many times before.

Yet those brains that went before you, how are you connected to them? Your current brain has no more connection to these people through simply having their molecules than it has to the ancient galaxies these molecules were once part of, or the Big Bang from whence this matter came. The individual molecules seem to carry nothing to our current brain other than the potential to build the brain itself.

Actually, the atoms in your body go through a complete turnover about once every seven years.

Some scientists claim that some day the whole universe will cease to exist, kind of remains me of Einstein?s quote:`Once you can accept the universe as matter expanding into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid comes easy.?

Think?
THINK?!
or
Parrot something you read in the New Age section of the bookstore?
Is this a random idea, something original that has some basis that you care to share or mere appeal to literary authority?

I was thinking the same thing, but I've long ago lost faith in people having rational explanations or even simple shreds of evidence for their "spiritual" statements.

Digression: Sorry, but IMO your new avatar doesn't "cut it". You have had some cool ones in the past.
"Spiritual" people love to talk about "awakening". Without understanding where your beliefs came from, it is impossible to assess their validity, and - if necessary -to awaken and discard them.
Borrowing unsubstantiated ideas is weak and passive and certainly not a sign of higher understanding.

Yep, just an original, random idea. Don't be jealous.
