Our own interpretation of what illusions are, is an illusion in itself.

The only thing I can see wrong about that statement, is that it needs a comma! nice wording!

Except in a case of the person performing the illusion.... They would indeed interpret it as an illusion by definition - knowing that an audience would perceive it as an illusion, but the performer would also know and perceive it as not so much an illusion at all....
UNLESS, the performer can trick himself into believing it is an illusion....(?)

That my friend all boils down to one's own perception....
I would be ignorantly speculating as to say what someone else's "Illusion" OR "Truth" is....

Why, did that statement need a comma?

I actually disagree.
An illusion can contain logical (or mathematical, etc.) truths. If the definitions of what numbers represent is accepted, then 2+2=4 no matter what. Period. Certain absolutes are true no matter what... they're CONCEPTS and perception of them is not required for them to be true.
If the DEFINITION of illusion is accepted, then the DEFINITION is not an illusion. What you're actually getting at is this: Our perceptions are based in illusion. And from this illusory perception we are able to experience the process of understanding the definition of the word illusion.

Perhaps not - if the illusion creates a sensible and clear enough reality then it stops becoming and illusions and sort of morphs into another dimension of reality. A simulation of reality which is so real it is a perfect copy, so beautiful though that we fall in love with this illusory reality and conception and always strive to live within the illusion. The sense and simulacra (boudrillard's terms) are what perpetually drive people's sense and will to live (in his POV.)
I guess it just boils down to the limits and depths of one's perception and what happens when you confront those illusions.
Edit - Sorry if i am rambling. No excuses here, just an apology.

Yeah...
Baudrillard was really on to something. What sucks is that he hasn't been able to take it further (much like Matrix 2&3).

any form or concept and any dualism yet these form hand holds that serve while climbing from one confusing place to another. sometimes we can share them and it yields huge belly laughter when we are in synch
