The doors of perception
    #4671375 -

Its almost been a year since my level 5 mushroom trip.

I noticed hardcore trips make reality seems new or fresh.

Hallucinogens keeping reality smelling new car fresh.

I can not even put into words what I experienced. All I know there is a beyond. The other side, where the grass it greener. The grass always seems greater on the other side.

Basically at level 5 I am seeing parts of reality ive never seen before.

It has been 23 years since my first level 5 trip and I agree.

"A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

It makes you question whats real. As if we broke through a membrane of reality or something. Maybe Buddha is right. Everything is an illusion. How can their be goals if everything is an illusion?

Its not an illusion, but a dream. There is a subtle difference.

I can agree with everything being a dream. Whats the subtle difference between the illusion and dream?

An illusion is a falsehood. A dream is an interpretation of mental process. We dream while asleep and while awake. When awake we have a physical frame of reference, but it is merely an individual interpretation.

Re: The doors of perception - using words to direct the mind but not to define or constrain [Re: Huehuecoyotl]

a boat is making progress on the surface of a lake.
the waves that ripple outward become a spreading wake.
all parts the boat, the lake, the wake, the progress
are true, inseparable, interrelated.

the wake is not the progress, (but seeing it is another kind of progress, and another dimension of progressions)

the boat is not the lake, (but it enables the traveller to enjoy the benefit of the lake on his route).
