Doors of Perception
    #897102 - 09/21/02 11:50 AM (16 years, 2 months ago)

While dreaming, my reflection in a mirror told me this.

The doors of perception is a misnomer. Changing perceptions isnt as easy as opening or closing doors, its much more like holes of perception. Changing perceptions can be accidental, like falling into holes, or can require concentration and strength like climbing out of holes.

But you can fall out a window, or go through the wrong door. I like your hole analogy, but I think the door of perception is a better one because you can open it easily if you want to.

But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.
