BLUE
RED
BLACK
PURPLE
WHITE
GREEN
YELLOW
PINK
BROWN

"they" say that a young child age 3-7 would easily be able to tell you the color of each word quickly, but not what the word says as easily. Also that older folks over 12 years or so cannot tell you the color of each word very easily or quickly, but can tell you what it says.?

hmmmmmmm......don't know how this matters but yeah! any thoughts?

Its just a reactionary association thing, our mind wants to read the letter because we recognize them as such language, children who are not as adept at reading may still the letters as symbols and thus can more easily identify the color of the word. Nothing too crazy I guess.
