Why do philosophers have the habit of making the world sound dull and lifeless?
Why do posters make sweeping and inaccurate generalizations?

I feel much more comfortable learning what I need to know about nature from nature, from the stars and in the company of the Grateful Dead.
One can learn a lot about living life to it's fullest from a self-destructive guitar player determined to end his life early.

There have been many people who seemed to have died trying to convince others that they didn't exist,
I tried to convince Santa Claus that he didn't exist, but he did not believe me. However, I DID convince the Greys, hence the great reduction in abduction reports.

but it seems to me they didn't take the extra step and say that life is about finding existence in non existence.
Saying is more important than doing.

It is about transcendence.
It is about transcending transcendence.

That's mighty transcendent! Meta-transcendent, even.

In response to the original poster, the simplest explanation is that a great magical genie farted everything into existence. This hypothesis has been the cornerstone of theocracies throughout the centuries. Just don't ask where the genie came from.

Swami, maybe you aren't enlightened at all. I consider myself on my way, it looks to me like your answers are all negative. It's all about challenging, that's never the point.

Swami, maybe you aren't enlightened at all.
Huh?

I consider myself on my way,
That's great, except that either one is or is not.

it looks to me like your answers are all negative.
Explain. (You have read all 11,000 of my posts?) How is your comment, which ADDS NOTHING of substance, not negative?

It's all about challenging, that's never the point.
It? Philosophy is certainly about challenging ideas!
