i read it. i don't have mcuh to say though, except... I AGREE

wish i had more to offer but my intellectuall meanderings doesn't usually get me far except for when it is something i am trying resolve myself, as in something i am asking about with which i don't know the subject matter.

but it was a good read, and it rings true with my philosophy.

but also
a tremendous reliance upon popular notions.

i am not sure how a-side is any different from b-side.
if you get a good yin yang argument going that part will be stronger.

Perhaps philosophers are preaching more to themselves than to the choir. Kind of like what you are doing, explaining these phenomenon better to yourself by writing it out.

Isn't this always the case?
Doesn't a language based description result from the first association into the mind about any given topic?
And isn't the most likely association the one that is popular?

All in all, a decent post OP, but a bit too materialist for me.
But that's not your fault... I tend to be at odds with the sentiments of the death anxiety crew.

You're stepping in the right direction, the hardest part now will be to be aware of what you are saying, and how it applies to you, or else it will become easy to be a hypocrite.

My advice: Why not stick to questions?
