We are all young and learning the world around us, and all very hypocritical, and all very underdeveloped and immature.

Consider that maybe you would make the same realizations independent of what philosophy others wrote that you read. I feel like on my path I am constantly reaching for conclusions, and whatever catalyst that creates a realization is irrelevant, because I would have come to the same conclusion eventually regardless.

Sure. Seems to me that you're describing a transcendence experience. But the description was heavily materialist, relying on the material world to define various aspects. This type of thought fits the majority of the board here, it just doesn't fit me. It's great for academia, it's great for commonality, it's just not my individual experience.

Is that a sufficient elaboration?
