Biblically Speaking-Humankind Is About To Be Destroyed

This is the Generation of the Fig Tree I have been taught.

"Some prophecy scholars believe the countdown of the generation began at Israel's rebirth (May 14, 1948). This would appear to be supported by Scripture. Others believe the countdown began when Israel regained all of the city of Jerusalem (June 1967).
Then there is the question: Should the 40 year generation be figured from 0 or the age of 20?
Other prophecy scholars may consider that the generation could, in some cases, be 70 or 80 years. It is written, Ps 90:10-THE DAYS OF OUR YEARS ARE THREESCORE YEARS AND TEN (70 years); AND IF BY REASON OF STRENGTH THEY BE FOURSCORE YEARS (80 years), YET IS THEIR STRENGTH LABOR AND SORROW; FOR IT IS SOON CUT OFF, AND WE FLY AWAY.
All things considered, we can only say that we are in a locked countdown. Israel has been reborn as was prophesied. We are now in the latter years-ref Ezek 38:8. We are in the generation in which the Rapture will occur, followed by the man of sin coming forth (known as the Antichrist). He will confirm a covenant with Israel and others which begins the Tribulation-ref Dan 9:27. After the Tribulation of those days, Armageddon explodes. Jesus Christ returns to this earth with power and great glory. We cannot say what year it will be. We can say, 1 Thes 5:6-THEREFORE LET US NOT SLEEP, AS DO OTHERS; BUT LET US WATCH AND BE SOBER. Sometimes I think life would be a lot easier if I could just see the future for 1 minute. Of course, a lot of people think that I guess.

I didn't even notice it mentioned the "Rapture" in there.....My bad. I don't believe in a "Rapture/Fly Away" theory.
