Suicide for knowledge
    #3354550 - 11/13/04 03:23 AM (19 years, 4 months ago)

Has anyone ever wanted to off themselves to find out what is waiting for us beyond this world?

I think committing suicide for knowledge is basically a fig leaf for the situation. Everyone will find out what is on the other side in good time. No need to rush things.

And there are ways to get a glimpse of that other life while still living..using positive life-force substances like shrooms, ayahuasca..rather than negative ones like coke and heroin.

Life is hard, no doubt, but I'm convinced it's well worth the effort.

To die in a state of selfishness, which is self-alienation, a divided consciousness that turns psyche against body, is so far from the Unitary State that defines Liberation, Release, Beatitude, Transcendence or simply Heaven - that Hell is the outcome. Hell is defined in Christianity, Judaism (to some extent) and Islam as 'alienation from GOD,' and these conditions begin while we are still here on earth and in the body. The self-destroyer, in other words, is already living in a painful, damnable existence. Permanent separation from the body while in this condition seals one's fate. One's life is on loan, and not our's to destroy. That is egotism demonized, and as is well known by those of us who work with kids, lots of apparent fatal car 'accidents' are suicides AND homicides because those demonized kids don't want to die alone.

think about it man, that would be like dropping out of school to find out what life is like after graduation. its something you would have found out anyways, and now youve missed out on all the lessons and fun. would be stupid.

This definitely seems probable. Clear insight into the matter seems to demonstrate it as so.

Hell, SS7 has passed on now, and he is no longer there to discover anything. Although, he never really was all there in the first place, if you know what I mean. :smirk:

 (Seriously, I am not attacking and I don't mean it, I have nothing agansit you, SS7, its just that Tag's post earlier today has completely warped my head, in some strange nonsensical imaginary world way that is oddly satisfying, and I have to continue the nonsense ).

:headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :satansmoking:
Peace. :mushroom2:

Maybe so. And that's particularly what's so comforting.

Why don't you give it a shot (pun intended), and come back and let us know.
