Instinct / Divine Knowledge

I have had a realisation.
Instinct is a judgement based upon previous situations i.e How have I behaved when this (or similar) situation happened before. This is different to divine knowledge.
What I have labaled above as divine knowledge I believe to be a universal source of all information accessable by everybody.
Remote viewing seems also to access this eternal data with amazing accuracy and possibly many other psychic phenomena are using the same source.
If you understand what I'm talking about then I strive to say I seem to have found a way of attaining this information in day to day life.
It is a strange sensation that is momentary which tells you the answer to something i.e I was chatting to a friend late 1 night he was talking about his grandad. I asked how old was he when he died, 58 instantly popped into my head, my friend then said 58. I have had things like this happen before and I know for certain that I attained the knowledge b4 my friend said it. The more you trust this knowledge, open this chanel in your mind, without judgement, the better the skill becomes.
As a child I always knew when 1 of my parents friends was cominging over, it would be 1 of many random friends, who only visited 4-5 times a year, and out of 365 days I would know a couple of hours b4 specifically whuch friend was coming to see them. It was this gut instinct, an instant knowledge that was simply trusted!
Am I making any sense???

I'm not sure what you mean..
According to the first definition from www.dictionary.com, Instinct is:
"An inborn pattern of behavior that is characteristic of a species and is often a response to specific environmental"
INBORN, meaning something already "programmed" into the brain, like how to obtain milk from the mother and things like this.... How could instinct be judgement based on previous experiences when by definition instinct is what you "know" dy "default," before you experience anything at all..
-------------------- Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

I have to agree with the strumpster, and here's why:
Bird's build their next via instinct - pre-preogrammed. They don't watch another bird build a nest, then learn how to build theirs. They just know.
So in turn, no. You're not making any sense.
-------------------- No one knows the worth of innocence till he knows it is gone forever, and that money can't buy it back. Not the saint, but the sinner that repenteth, is he to whom the full length and breadth, and height and depth, of life's meaning is revealed. Good and evil loose all objective meaning and are seen as equally necessary and contrasting elements in the masterpiece that is the universe.

Sorry Let me explain.
I probably used the wrong word with instinct but I was refering to the difference between psychicly knowing an answer and guessing an answer based on previous situations!
Most people do understand this as their instincts even though it is not the true definition of the word.

Dano probably means "intuition" instead of the word "instinct".
Intuition 1. a)The act or faculty of knowing or sensing without the use of rational processes; immediate cognition.
b) Knowledge gained by the use of this faculty; a perceptive insight.
2. A sense of something not evident or deducible; an impression.
Source
By the way, Dano, I agree with you. Psychedelics also seem to help out with intuition as well.
