If you want to hear more trippy techno, check out this site: http://www.sonicnet.com/events/digweed/index.jhtml You can download John Digweed's most recent album in its entirety. It's some kick ass trance.

very good choice heavenly. last time i ate acid i listened to a bunch of aphex twin, mu-ziq, squarepusher, and Slicker and it blew my mind. All very very trippy electronic musicians.

Does anyone know what the new Infected Mushroom album is/will be called? If you like I.M. you'll rrreally like FOREST FOR THE TREES. Works like these are best heard through headphones on 5g+...

i'd have to say that Boards of Canada provide some of the more trippy music out there. i read an interview somewhere that they generally make their music to sound good while on psychedelics and are often influenced by experiences had while under various influences. My vote goes for just about anything on Warp Records, overall though

Check out Astral Projection. They have a load of free mp3s on mp3.com, great trip music. Check out Searching for UFOs, Tryptomine Dream (can't get more direct then that), People Can Fly, Enlightened Evolution, Aurora Borealis, and No One Ever Dreams. These are my personal favorites, and are great to put on once you've peaked.

The Dandy Warhols are my favorite band when tripping, especially their second album "Come Down".

everybody has a right to their kind of music, but to put down one or another is totally uncool. the ONLY exception to this rule is boy bands, anybody that likes boy bands automatically loses my respect, no questions asked. when i hear about girls crying at their fucking concerts i just want to shake the hell out of the girls and say GET A FUCKING LIFE! crying over a band that doesnt even write their own songs. its bullshit

I was being sarcastic. How the music is made has no influence on whether I like it or not. And what gives you the right to have an exception? Do you not know that it is 'totally uncool' to put down anothers choice in music? Bricoleur.

thats MY exception, I will allow any music so long as the band/person writes the music THEMSELF, otherwise I can't accept it. It's like taking somebody's essay and putting your name on it.
