Anyone know where he went? I haven't seen him around in awhile now, he used to be quite the addition to S&P.

Mr mushrooms is tending to his garden and enjoying the peace he is giving himself.  I've only spoken with him a couple times since he wanted his account deleted and he's doing great everyone!  so don't worry.  I don't think he will ever be back with us though, as I think he burnt himself out too much on this place.  I do miss him though, and someday, he just may return.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

MM stepped WAY over the line too many times (I will not recap here). His philosophy was not lived out through his words and actions.

Spirituality MUST be integrated and lived; mere intellectual learning and good writing style are nothing without a base. His old wounds frequently were expressed as extreme anger towards others. Laying philosophy on top of unhealed pain only puts a veneer of wisdom over core issues.

MM and I were good friends for quite some time. One can like the person, but not the behaviours. He did/said too many things that were just unacceptable by any standards. Perhaps he is taking this time to re-evaluate.

I wish him well.

Yeah, at heart I think he is a good person, but the guy had more issues than Time magazine. I was stunned at some of the cruel things he would say to people. Reading things like that made me realize this a person with a lot of hatred in his heart. I never got into it with him personally, but I witnessed many things he did which saddened me. At the same time, he did some good things here, so hopefully he can salvage himself.

I wish him the best as well.  :thumbup:

Whoa, some crazy things must have gone down in the year I've been gone. I don't ever remember Mr. Mushrooms flaming anybody. To me he always seemed very courteous and professional. Did he suddenly get hostile in the past year? I just remember he was online almost all the time. He never even really argued back then... he debated.

I've missed him.
