How demanding are they regarding air?

I've found that they like slightly more FAE than cubes but honestly if you want to make it easy for yourself just treat them like cubes and run em in the same tub but mist them more and see how that goes before increasing FAE. If you need to increase FAE just crack the lid of your tub to start with and go from there.

The thing is, I grow plants in an enclosed space, so air exchange is limited. I use an 11-liter bucket. I hide the buckets for safety reasons.

Well then maybe an automated tub or Martha tent would be more optimal to use but those are more expensive to build than ordinary tubs and harder to hide.

Have you grown any other species in that enclosed space?

No.
These options don't work for me.
Let them grow as they are.

I'd suggest making active grains instead of growing mushrooms if you want a stealth grow but that requires that you're quite confident with agar and the SAB routine first so you avoid getting sick.

If I was you I'd just give your plan a go and see what happens and then adjust after that if it's necessary. But Semps aren't extremely picky when it comes to FAE, at least not in my experience:lol: they do like a bit more than cubes it seems but they're not like pans who seem to love more FAE so maybe your FAE will be sufficient, there is only one way to tell.

I’ve already tried the seeds—I liked them. I think everything will be fine. They should grow. 👍

What makes the experiences associated with this type of mushroom unique?
Please provide more details.

:whathesaid:

I'm growing these first time. I've gotten them to fruit. They really are easy as cubes. Your patience will be tested above cubes however.

Good luck with these. They are very special to grow and be around (I have yet to eat them).

HVC isn’t very demanding at all; it’s domesticated. You can run them just like cubes as others have mentioned. They’ll be skinny and lanky but you’ll get fruits. The more air they get, the more robust your fruits will be. I grow mine in a tent but it is faaaaar from required.

They're much more intense with visuals all over the place and just better in every way compared to cubes and since I recently tried DMT I have to say Semperviva visuals are soooo similar but not as "sharp", more like it's a dmt trip but with someone protecting you from the harsh parts.

This was my first shock experience with these which literally made me fall in love with them. They're the only mushrooms I feel a true love for like I'd do with a human being or animal which is absolutely fucking weird:lol:

Well...It's the only mushroom that I never had a bad trip on. The only mushroom that I briefly had closed eye visuals. The only mushroom that made time stop, space disappear and fill me with a feeling of endless love. I hope to one day have enough to share and not worry about running out for a year or two. So far ochras have been too easy to grow, but I'm ready to direct my energy to growing subtrops. Just put a drop of 1 year old subtrop sslc on agar 🤞

I read that and I gotta say...I am pumped to do these for the first time!

I haven't had a monster dose of anything in years now. I used to do 2g cyans a few times a year, but quickly settled in to 0.5g trips with them.

What's a good first time dose with these, you think? To feel the Universal love and all that?

You are not alone in your weirdness, I too am in love with these in the same way. I imagine I will only fall deeper once I have tasted her fruit.

Oh and I forgot
Subtrops are so extremely potent... but kind, even on 40g fresh (not recommended unless your tolerance is high and you tried similar doses before)

My first experience was 7 or 8 little caps that I’d had printing for 24 hours. I didn’t expect anything but 30 minutes later I felt a mild electric current running up and down my right arm. Pupils were dilated and everything was humorous. Lasted about 4 hours.
I’m maxed out at 1.2 grams that I prepare in chocolate. That dose isn’t for finding the meaning of life but I’m not looking for the answer because I already know the answer is 42.
1.2g does cause the electric current buzz and shifting visuals. Walking in the woods in a snow storm was the best. I could hear the big fluffy flakes falling through the air. Outside looking at the stars is also enjoyable, sometimes the mushrooms throw in a couple of extra stars and the Milky Way gets milkier.
I only partake a few time per year and I’m not on any blocking meds so take that into consideration.
Fun little toothpicks.

Edit: Blueberry! Nice to see you.

Oh man you'll love these for sure:awesome:... They're fucking crazy and the only ones I've tried that top the effect of Semperviva HVC is Semperviva Tres Soles but it's a tie for me since HVC feels like many souls in one energised package but Tres soles feels more like a grown up and mystical soul. Zapotecorum is supposedly even crazier but I haven't tried those yet.

As for a dose I'd suggest starting low to get a feel for them but honestly if you can do 2g Pan Cyan you can do 2g Semperviva too but I'd recommend 0.5g to start with if you wanna dip your toes but 1g if you wanna be blasted without having a religious experience lol. Honestly though these just keep getting better the more you take if you're used to higher doses but I always start low and redose due to the intensity they possess.

Great to see you too Tao buddy

I'm likely months away from subtrops but on the bright side, once I get them going, they'll keep on giving and I feel so good mentally most days that I no longer feel like I need to consume mushrooms in order to feel great. Now it's more of a healthy thing to do in order to clear the filters and open new perspectives. Nowadays 3g ochras is enough for me to forget who I am and then marvel as I come back at how odd I seem to be.

@SkanskKorv Ok! I'm thinking I'll start with 0.5 and then have another 0.5 on standby.

Honestly, I've done 2g pans several times, but it was never anything I looked forward to, you
know what I'm saying?

I have a super-low tolerance.

I don't know what I am growing. Got this print from Imatryin who got their print from RoscoeReturns in late 2023.
Whatever it is, growing it is like shooting fish in a barrel. It just wants to perform in my environment.
