Nice Kloakk.

Looks like you didn't even struggle with the door boot!

Thanks man, and yes the door boot was way less trouble then what I thought it would be

Now, the seal around the heating element on the other hand..

Took almost an hour to get it in place :crankey:

Hahaha, domestic duty day.

I have to admit, the drop in temperature is starting to bug me... Before, I was complaining about the heat — but everything used to grow twice as fast.

And I also have to confess that I really need a good mushroom trip — but I don't want to do it before getting back into my routines. :ohwell:

On most models around here that type of heater has a seal built in and is as easy as slide in, slide out.

It's usually the little things that do eat up time though.

I can fix major issues with a dryer in 20 minutes, might spend another 20 fucking with the vent though, I'll cuss a little at those.

Now entirely removing and replacing a door boot can be a real bitch. Your forearms will be swole.

Looks to me like OTD got snipped. It is now hidden from the general public behind a toggle switch.  I think that's a pretty good compromise for now but I will have to take a look at how all that works. Seems to me they just became an actual dirty little secret rather than one of the main attractions. They've been rendered irrelevant which is effectively what they are.

Yeah verified I'm not seeing it.  I'd like to see how it actually is index and what the likelihood is of new members actually finding it but for now I think that was a really big win. So I picked up a couple negative ratings and an additional ignore so that seems like a pretty good bargain struck.

Sad it took this long honestly.

All the years of all those people disgusted, chased away, senseless as fuck.

But they piss off you and Pasty and suddenly something is done.

Oh well, better late than never.

I suppose I should say thanks.

I should have known, around here everything is made in stupid and different diameters, different brands use different and unusual tools ect to make it hard to diy shit :oldman:

To be fair, almost everything I do takes time because I'm slow, this thing took 4 hours and my wife helped the whole way, but hey it works and I'm glad for it, just bought $200 worth of coir just days before it broke down :uhoh:

Priorities

Is it the "view nsfw stuff" checkbox?

I can't remember what the default for that account setting is, seems smarter to default it to No, but I'm no admin.

As someone who has shifted to primarily hanging out in OTD and the Pub, this situation is simultaneously regrettable (OTD behavior spilling out of OTD), hilarious (the ensuing whatever that was in OTD), and long overdue (the snipping functionality). Most of the OTD regulars are decent, some of them remind me of those old guys who are good people deep down but just seem hell bent on never bowing to the flow of society's definition of polite conversation, but there is a small subset of people in there that are truly a problem, so unfortunately the place has the strong potential to run users off.

I don't post in cult much anymore because I gave away my last spore print more than 10 years ago, but maybe I'll lurk around and see how techniques have changed over the years.

I'll be polite, I promise. :pipesmoke:

Been out all day, hiking, tripping, remembering people lost along the road. Found out the cyanescens and subaeruginosa beds started pinning.
Surprising, as temperatures are still up and precip deficit is huge.

Came home to see the Shroomery a little cleaned up. And bam, it starts raining like a mfer. Forecast for the next days is about 38 mm. I have so many new woodlovers that may or may not start popping in the next weeks.

In about a month it'll be two years since I registered here. I realized today - again - what a fucking awesome journey these years have been. Growing species that weren't even described when I started fumbling with cakes. And species that for many years seemed to be beyond the horizon.

Thanks a lot, you goddamn druggos.

Also I tooted churp for being a lowbrow puppet, it's so obvious.
I also added them both to my nazi watchlist in my journal, so we can watch them
