Update: these guys are on the struggle bus haha

I think with a little luck and wisdom from y'all I can turn them around though.

I read fruiting conditions and Proper Surface Moisture.

Thanks Ras and Beef for chiming in.

Rasmodius said:
Yeah it's tough to say whether those bags are undercolonized or whether the coir is just a bit unevenly distributed making them seem patchier.

Yeah I spent 5 or so minutes mixing each bag but in trying to not tear the plastic, there were some spots a tad heavy with grain or coir.

BeefExtreme said:
Im not sure ive ever seen a aio that tall and skinny. Strange.

Tall, skinny, short, fat, etc. All sort of shapes and sizes lol

BeefExtreme said:
What I see: the surface is fucked up enough that its trying to fruit between plastic and substrate. Tells me the colony isnt too fond of the envoronment in the bag. The best fruiting surface is a milimeter of gas. Theyre not havin fun in that bag.

Oh it's much worse buddy. Take a gander.

Bag 1

Bag 2

BeefExtreme said:
Honestly? Id rescue this shit.

I agree man. Rescue and punish. I have some Coco Bliss coming in. I opened the bags and made them sparkly until I can tub them proper.

BeefExtreme said:
Id probably manually abort the little pins whats on there, punish the surface. Give em a new scaffold to build from: Make some coir, and roll em in there and get a nice brown jacket on there.  Mist it nice and moist. Put the rest of that coir in a tub and set that egg on the coir. Keep em misted and brown. When it colonizes, keep it sparkly.

Rasmodius said:
Either slice horizontally 75% of the way up and top fruit, or pop the whole thing out of the bag and throw it on a grate in a tub with some water at the bottom, possibly with a bit of coir dusting if they're not already fruiting in most places. But you're in good shape no matter what.

I'll make a water tub for these guys. I'm making a separate one for some cakes anyway.

Okie dokie they've been in a water tub and looking pretty good to my eyes.

I plucked 3 pins from clusters and put them to agar (I'll grab some prints later, too).

Since they had so many pins already when I put them in the tub, per Ras I didn't use any coir but should I put a mound on top and for them to sit on like fahtster recommends with pf cakes?

Also, after first flush, I was planning to do the Punisher Tek.

You're about to be a happy man. Fuck... Even I'd be happy with that flush.

Starting to think maybe AIO's aren't so bad! :cantarguewiththat:

And to clarify, don't bother putting coir on top and bottom, just let it do its thing and after this flush, do the Punisher Tek? I want to make sure it gets enough water (for those big fruits lol)

I think my Enigma is overlayed. It has a partner shoebox of GT in the same tub which is pinning. Should I agitate and hydrate this enigma? I know enigma takes a while, but it colonized jars faster than the GT box shown.

I am somehow not able to upload pictures of this enigma shoebox. I will work on it
