A Good Buddy of mine is that way. .5 can fully send him regardless of fasting. Honestly some times i wish i could do that because I wouldn't need as much. But personally, even on a fasted stomach i need a minimum of ~3.5g's to get any sort of visual. my GF is even worse i think she can eat more than me  AND THEN GO TO SLEEP like wtfff




And @Langten, It definitely squeezed the daylights out of the sub. and some parts dry up quicker than others. Maybe i just need to spray it more to make em bigger.


If you have fruits still growing on the dinosaur egg, you could try to float it to push the ones that are still growing, I know Beef waters his sub every day after his first flush

It is a rescue of an AIO bag so its very likely. I followed Beef's tek in my signature of Rescuing AIOs. Its very humid in the tub, and i mist it almost daily, but i guess this doesnt introduce deep penetration of the water into the block.

Would it be crazy to inject water into the block via syringe?

pictures were definitely taken at a dryer time. If i ever see it like this i mist it heavily. Its a rescue so I'm just happy to get the little 0.25 guys off of it.

This was the block before i attempted rescue.

Ive heard people inject water with good success, you just gotta make sure it actually gets inside the substrate, there are so many ways to rehydrate your sub

I agree, I believe PE is a variety that likes to access more local sources (surface) of H2O

Oh when i spray it, i get it wet. not like pretty surface conditions but like its wet in there because of how dry it gets

Langten these are PE's but they are coming in super small. The biggest one was no bigger than a bic lighter


Mushroom by light is on the right hand side of the 2nd pic. This was the biggest so far. Its an AIO rescue so I wasn't expecting much, but i was actually impressed by how small they were when they started to stop growing.

I mean that's technically it.  I'm not sure if I articulated that to the best ability. I never do :imspecial:

Anyways if you want a lot of blue just handle the shit out of them give anda little squeeze.

Youll. get lots of blue. 

To be clear .  Yes The blue is indicative of actives being present But not how potent it is.

Injecting your substrate does nothing. Mycelium is designed to move water.

So then heavy misting the top would still be my best bet, instead of trying to rehydrate from the inside out. This is definitely not a typical grown but a rescue so its all really just doing what I can post AIO fuck up.

If ur opening ur water tub frequently ur loosing humidity that takes about 24 hrs to balance put again n lotsa fungi when pinning don't like environment changes n If doing frequently fungi will yell n scream

Making sure the surface is glistening is a major part though also getting proper fae and humidity in the tub is also a major part  for :yields:

Do people have recs on a bag sealer that works on thick unicorn-type bags, that makes a solid seal on the first press, can be used on multiple bags in a row without overheating, and does not develop hot spots that burn through or cold spots that fail to seal in places?

I have the chinese blue one that's $20 on amazon and it's a complete piece of shit, fucks the bag up somehow almost every time, to the point that I have an absolutely terrible tek for just sealing my bags with packing tape. :mad2:

Wanna move away from jars more but this sealer's gotta go.

AIE makes good impulse sealers. I have the AIE-305, its 12 inch with 5mm width seal. I have not used it for mycology yet but it works like a charm
and never let me down or played up for other applications. You can get it with a magnetic hold as well called AIE-305HIM.

Not cheap though and there can be a fair bit of price variation so its worthwhile to look around.

There are probably decent cheaper ones around but I got mine second hand for a good price.

Uline makes an 8" impulse sealer that's not too bad, we had one at my job for some reason that never got used so I asked to borrow it, that was 4 months ago and nobodys asking about it so I'm def just keeping it lol. I originally borrowed it to seal the bottom corners square on some fahtlocks, which it does beautifully.

I had that one but I pitched it and got a 5mm mag lock model. Best $500 bux i ever spent. We'll not quite but I love it thats for sure.
