Are you claiming the intrusive thoughts may happen because of:

it could be diabetes-II, low functioning insulin or poor liver function.

:confused::confused::confused:

Re: I get these intense feelings [Re: Pinkerton]

no but the dip in energy cold be related to insulin
the intrusive thoughts are like stuck song syndrome, and that is more related to a brain that can do a lot more work than it is faced with.

i.e. you are probably smarter than you know, but tending to recycle the stuff that is already in memory rather than studying something new like in school.

note: people can go to school at any age.
My wife is in her sixties and is enrolled in her second year at a masters program, even though she has no bachelor degree. She did pick up a few unrelated certificates along the way...

otherwise SSS is related to loss of contact with breathing and body, so breathe slowly, then go have a nap.

Try being less ambitious and wishing to be "understood"

Try a 3 day butter fast and abstain from storytelling.

Sounds like bipolar disorder then if it is as extreme as you describe

I know when i switched to a more protein heavy diet that I had and still have more stable levels of energy throughout the day as opposed to when I used to eat sugar heavy things like cinnamon toast crunch in the morning then i would crash like 9/11 a few hours later

Chronic mood swings can be fueled by a lack of emotional intelligence.

Intrusive thoughts happen because you simply let them intrude

Tough love here: you are in control of your mind at all times, and you (by neglect or apathy) have allowed your thoughts to be dysphoric in nature

It may not be what you want to hear but the truth shall set you free

not sure about control actually
cannot seem to see that
incremental adjustments upon the direction in which we are headed.
but no actual control.

I suppose it is more like a continuous choice than a control

For example

I choose to see Pinkerton as solving their dysphoric mind state by making the right actions and cleaning up their habits

I have faith that Pinkerton shall overcome and be able to help those who have this problem

Such is my choice

I am supernatural thus normal human nature is not my field of play.

The funny thing is that I am not joking, just a little (in)sane.

Well, I suppose you are paying the price for being extraordinary

Besides, being normal is way overrated

The state of euphoria has its own recipe, if you wish to remain longer in that state, find out the ingredients and continuously "bake that mf cake"

more like preference or orientation which you have acquired through experience.
I have yet to see choice in action that is more than a preferential reflex.
people love to talk about choices, especially in advertising.

Well, if you prefer something, then you choose it because its what you prefer

Its like 2 sides of the same coin

I dont disagree with you, in fact, i totally agree with you, i just choose to use different words to get the same point across, because i prefer to use the language that makes the most sense to me

actually not
a) a person makes a choice <- this is what you are suggesting a definitive action.
b) a reflex of memory occurs and keeps on occurring <- this is what I am saying no single definitive action at all.

through awareness, one sees a continuum of change and reflections. one never sees choices.

Keep choosing happiness
Your mind is a garden
Your thoughts are seeds
Keep planting seeds of fruits you intend to see grow into maturity
Gardening your mind is a lifelong enterprise

Well then I comprehend your position more thoroughly after this elaboration.

You are playing the part of the Merovingian as depicted in the 2nd Matrix movie

happiness is irrelevant and often an enviable advertising ploy.

btw Pinkerton called me Kaptain Obvious and it stuck.

prior to that I was Irregular Verb, which a young lady called me while we were at dinner at her parents' house (her dad was an artist friend of mine), based upon the kinds of things I said.

I like Irregular Verb - but it never clicked with the Shroomery folk.

no, not at all.
I was fascinated with the mystery of vision and memory as a child, as a student, and as a university student, and once I was able to see how memory forms (having taken courses and read so many papers and books), and how perception is reflexive, I had a lot of work to do in unraveling all the mixed up things we are dealing with in society, psychology, and law, which are based upon historical misunderstanding of what mind is.

People mostly think our minds are like recording equipment storing reams of experience in some miraculous way (spiritual, other dimensional, akashic, simulational) but that is not the case, instead we constantly acquire associative familiarity with what we encounter, and that becomes associated with the familiarity we already have - extending our personalities, preferences, & knowledge.
and
People mostly imagine we are like souls inhabiting flesh - expressing our 'will' and 'intent' in some vague way. Also most people do not believe that animals think.

Like I said I have a lot of work to do.

I bet you'd fuk with the book 'reality transurfing', specifically the parts in it about memory

I would have liked something that "teaches you how to control your external reality by managing your thoughts, energy, and attention" as a teenager (and that drew me to meditation and yoga), but it is not something I am attracted to now - though I still like meditation and yoga.

I am pretty sure that control of thoughts is not possible, and control of attention is also not possible, but it is very possible to like certain things and to curate your life by arranging them so that what you experience is satisfactory both internally in mind and externally in the physical world.

this requires appreciating being the curator.
many creatures get into it in visible ways
like bower birds

and like the
white spotted pufferfish

and like caddis fly larvae,

putting things around you as a reminder or trigger to think related things is very effective in being a conscious creature.

we are curators living in our own art galleries
