Because such is the natural swings of the pendulum of experience

You wouldnt want to be awake 24/7 and euphoric 24/7 or else your physical form would decay like a candle burning at both ends by two flamethrowers

You wake up, energized ready to do the things that the day presents to you, then you get tired once the day has been "conquered"

It is completely natural

it could be diabetes-II, low functioning insulin or poor liver function.
i have been treated for diabetes-II for a few years but I have other issues (hemochromatosis) that require a nap in the day or I get wrung out.

so,
eat less sugar or carbo, and exercise, AND TAKE NAPS when your sunshine begins to fade
