can you feel the storm ?

I can feel the pressure building before a storm, like an increased energy because of the preasure on my vessels.. It is hard to explain and I am not sure that does it any justice and or insight into what causes this... Who knows, maybe it is me noticing the signs of a storm aproaching and my sub concious picking up on this and that would trigger me to so call 'feel' a change... but this seems different.. like an aspect of my mind(or soul) that even the most advanced psychologist could not explain... I am highly skeptical that this is a created phenomenom, a manisfestation of my mind... Does anyone else feel the storm aproaching? if so, this could 'proove'(well not really, because when was the last time you could hook yourself up to a 'feeling the storm machine' to test your reults in a labratory setting /sar) the existence of some form of 'energy' not measurable or explainable by science ... which leads to even more questions..........................

I think he is questioning the validity of whether one can feel a storm approaching. I can... or at least i would like to think i can. He is wondering whether this is some kind of electrical... or just keen animal ability to see if storms can come or not.. He wonders if it is something special.. or if it is something which he has just come to gather as a collection of data. Humidity... clouds... smell of rain... so forth. I can be outside and look around.. and feel the approach of a storm... not knowing before hand if it is on the radar... but just feeling it coming. Maybe it has something to do with the bodies ability to sense changing electrical fields... along with the gathering of data such as humidity, and the changing clouds and winds...

elaborate? hmm well, it goes like this: I am wherever I am, and with the coming breeze, and passing of time I feel a sort of pressure build in my veins.... it gains intensity until it will start lightening, and sometimes raining, the typical 'storm'.... when I see the lightning sometimes, and I focus on its energy I feel the release of pressure in my veins and it makes for some good meditation/energy anylisis... hmm... that probaly sounds bogus but um let me try another way:, basiclly, I can feel the forces of nature taking their path , an on calm days I find it easier to tap into the inner self, while on the contrary, when a storm is aproaching or happening, I find myself 'forced' to deal with things I cannot explain by rudimentary means, which to me brings up many questions that I can't find in any text book. as a young teen I was in a hurricane which desicrated the Florida coast, as the eye passed over my house, I was so energized I could feel Nature on a level i can not explain, it effected me greatly...... there is/never will be anything stopping the course of nature. I submit my will to it and because I choose not to fight it, I can somehow gain insight into the weather patterns by means unexplainable....

I have thought simillar things Experimental. Why i cannot feel it in my veins... I can feel the rain in my face... and i can feel the lightening in my back.
Its really interesting. It makes me wonder about native americans and "rain dances".
We are animals... i think it might be in us some what to be able to recognize storms and to be able to adjust to the changes accordingly.

I see... yeah like Zero said I guess you're sensitive.
Weather affects me in strange ways too. On clear sunny days I tend to feel less in control of myself. On cloudy days with a little rain I feel more in control. During heavy rains or storms I tend to be very focused and strong-willed. I don't know how to say this exactly but I feel this in relation to the energy of people around me, since most people seem to exude the opposite energies according to the weather I described.

this preasure I feel is slight, hardly noticble, but there for sure... sometimes I feel like it is pulling me 'out' and other times the preasure will be pushing be in.. I think it DOES have something to do with preasure...

"There were several tornadoes reported in the northeast Florida/southeast Georgia area on 5 June. A tornado at Jacksonville Beach in Duval County, FL, around 0738 UTC, downed power lines and trees, flipped over two vehicles, and caused minor damage to fences and houses." Had to do some google searching but I found that article... the tornado described went RIGHT over my house with 100+mph winds, windows breaking , grass blades driven into boards type gusts... it ripped the roof right off our car garage and threw in in the neghbors yard...one of the cars flipped over was my next door neighbors, and the person across the street from me had a tall tree fall on, and total his car... the entire street houses had broken windows, and many cars were fucked up,, this was only the begining of the damage.!! let me rephrase this: "as a young teen I was in a hurricane which desicrated the Florida coast, as the eye passed over my house" I was not in the eye of a hurricane , but a tornado that was a result of the hurricane... so back to the point: I first remember this feeling as we were huddled in the hall waiting for the storm to pass.... I could feel the tornado aproaching although I could not see it... when the outside wall of the storm hit our house it was as if a train slammed into our front door and kept on going in... then some seconds later a HUGE vaccume sucked all the air out of our house while the air remained calm for about a few seconds, and then the other side of the nado passed over with the same force... I am not Exactly sure how long the whole ordeal lasted.. I would say a min or less for the most extreme part.... () and at that moment I felt this 'presure' most greatly. ever since then I guess I have become more intune with my 'inner barometer' or have I

barometric pressure?
That is the largest part of it; plus changes in wind, temperature, humidity, ionization; etc. Of course, we here at S&P are MUCH more interested in non-prosaic explanations.
Funny how the self-proclaimed truth-seekers seem to want anything but...
