i can definatly feel the changes of a storm...
when the weather here begins to storm, i am normally very eccentric for the first couple of hours before i even know that a storm is coming. most of my meditations and journeys through the rains and the winds have led me to a greater sensitivity to environmental changes (its interesting to note how the word environmental has connotations towards emotions/intelligence.) you can definatly flow your emotions with a storm if you immerse yourself in it... i remember walking half naked in a freezing storm, the rain whipping around me, hitting me from all directions sometimes. it was the strangest kind of peace to be led by that storm, walking and just feeling... i first feel it on a small scale, ie: pressure changes, energy gathering and dispersing... then walking through the storm i feel it on a personal level, chemically in my mind and blood, then with deeper submission to the storm, you feel the storm on a "god-like" level, the whole mealstrom, no matter how small is a measurment of chaos, (which often seems impossable to me!) but it is. ive always thought of this a gods-eye-view of the storm (as opposed to a birds-eye-view).
i have just completely rambled off!
anyways: yes you definatly feel the storm, and the more you become aware of what your feeling, you can also feel the storm litterally on greater levels then just what you would consider your basic senses.
peace!

"and the more you become aware of what your feeling, you can also feel the storm litterally on greater levels then just what you would consider your basic senses"
this was what I was hinting at! thanks for the response... I think what I was wondering if it ever goes beyond just 'sensing' the pressure change and noticing other changes with your 'outward' senses.. something deeper, requiring you to use what many millions of people use in meditation practices every year: the unseen energy, that at times, is more powerful then the seen
Swami : "non-prosaic ."

I understand the alphabet can be tricky. Try singing along with me: "Abcd-efg; hijk, lmnop;qrs-tuv, wx-yand z, now I know my ABC's won't you come and sing wi-ith me?"
Webster:
pro?sa?ic ( P ) Pronunciation Key (pr-zk) adj.
Consisting or characteristic of prose. Matter-of-fact; straightforward. Lacking in imagination and spirit; dull.

I know on some level we all can. Wether its from sub conscious observation of wether, animals, pressure, etc... Or weather its from the birds... Right before that huge snowfall last time the birds were chirping all morning and all day like crazy. They must be telling eachother. That makes me fascinated with birds, and insects. In true hallucinations they talk about the insects chirp in a wave carrying info, doesnt seem so far off once i saw the birds. I always find myself fighting with my girlfriend before the approach of snow. SO yes, people can tell in one way or another, on some level...
Honestly tho i couldnt tell you if it was gonna snow tommorow, unless i studied the animals very closely, i think they can tell us alot
