 anyone feeling dark lately?

i dont know what it is but lately especially last night and today ive started feeling strong overwhelming waves of darnkess, dark energy. Its almost like thinking that you know you are going to die, but you dont know why but you think it has something to do with what your doing, like your doing something wrong but you dont know what it is. ive been doing some reading and talking to other people and they said theyve felt weird today, theyve felt the darnkness lately. i cant explain it just feels like its pervading everywhere in everything. ive been dreaming about it, talking to people in my dreams. Ive had experiences with depression and other psychotic experiences but this... this is almost like my darkest dreams come into view of the real world. just looking at the sky something looked off. well it may just be me and i dont want to be completely dark, still have to leave room for the light to enter. i just wanted to know if anyone else has been feeling things like this or had ominous dreams or dreams about the future or anything about things going on.
at www.reconnections.net the author daniel jacobs is talking about in the coming transition people will see what theyve ignored or been lied to about for so long and they are going to get pissed off and start taking it out. whether it is to happen or not i dont know. but they talk about it on this mayan site as well.
this also ties in with the age of aquarius, but what is to be if anything i dont know.

yeah, i don't know if its the same thing but thats a good description...a few days before thanksgiving i started getting a lot of anxiety... if anyone has ever gotten the fear while tripping, that is essentially what it felt like....feeling like your gonna die and everything around you reflects that. it was just an overwhelming darkness it was just waves and waves of fear about everything. i dug into myself and realized i was causing it by feeding into the negative feelings. i changed alot of things about myself that wasn't so healthy physically and mentally...and it has essentially gone away. but when i was deep in it it feels like ur going crazy and that is the way you will be forever. if you want a no nonsense answer its probably stress and anxiety....but it could be a sign of you needing to heal. let go of all the bullshit. stick to what really matters. hope this helps a little.... cause it took awhile to figure it out what works for me...but everyone is different.

I've been having evil and dark feelings lately. This is normally not like me at all, which makes it much more interesting. I'm not necessarily depressed about it, although I have felt that way recently. It almost seems like the darkness has the same energy as the good and it lures you toward it. I can feel it enticing me and part of me is drawn towards it. My dreams have been very evil too... i've been getting tortured.. but i embrace this torture and It fulfills me in a way. Hmmm...

This is very weird because i was about to post a similar thread. Yes, i've been feeling this waves of darkness like you say, i would also describe it as emptiness, the sense that something is not right.
I'm the kind of person that notice subtile details, like, go to the streets and look around you, this christmas lights, people talking, walking but you don't feel the warm you used to feel, it feels like everything lost something but you don't know what it is and this "what" makes you aprehensive. I've looked at the sky and it seems still, meaning this is the time, but everything on the ground moves so fast, it's a sensation of "i got you", like what is to follow is inevitable.

I've noticed over the past several months that it is easier to tap into, or get caught up in, the dark side of things. Even when things are going better than usual the dark side is easier to tap into ........and for me that means extra work consentrating on the positive.
The positive is there........but the dark has to be forcefully chased out to get into the positive.......

Right on! This ISHT is gettin downright creepy fellas... Ive been feeling the same way the past few weeks. I thouhght It was just cause ive been feeling kind of sickish, but i guess its not just me?! It's like a kind of an erie calm, like its all about to hit the fan!
Im the type to notice subtle details as well, and things as of late seem off somehow. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's like suddenly all of the issues in my life which have been keeping me from realizing my full potential have been shoved right in my face. From fear of commitment, to fear of failure, right on down the line. Its like im taking my final exams for my "life class."
Also, Ive been feeling recently like the days are FLYING!! like a regular 24 hour day only feels like it lasts for 16-18 hours or so. Like I just dont have the same amount of time as i had 2 years ago.

well technically that is duality and that is right where we are.... i dont know if its so much impending doom but i think were up for a change. i can feel and i can see it, when i conquer this darkness its like i see who i really am. and i see that you all as well seem to see the same thing. if you ever feel bogged down just hold on and remain true to yourself and try to bypass the darnkess and i think you will start to wake up to who you really are. at the link i posted at www.reconnections.net the guy daniel jacobs like i said is talking about an awakening. a fellow shroomerity  sent me this email.

on the news today i saw that mt killimanjaro has lost a lot of its glacial size. they thought it would never melt, they said today by two decades it should be gone. when spring rolls around water that has been polarized because of seasons and fields and what not could make its way to crash into the southern US gulf coast. plus with the coming of the age of aquarius, our earth is suppose to shift axis also adding to the possibility of shifting water currents. whether my dream is to come true i dont know, but for the past 2 weeks ive had dreams that have come true, not de ja vu's but dreams. and ive started to feel things changing, seeing people change. to strumpling... you have to think that there hasnt been 6 billion people on the planet in our known history. we are at a peak, cause i dont really see anything great keep happening. this could be the new atlantian civilization of the earth, and it could be due time in not only our earths means but for our civilization. not to say that we are all gonna die!!!! or anyhting, but that maybe we are up for a change, and its my personal "belief" that we are. ive talked to my friends who dont even come here saying they felt odd, people who are on here. myself, but with not "logical" reason for it happening. and it just feels like change, and i think im pretty good like most of you guys said at noticing subtle changes. i dont think its soooo out of the question to think that we might know whats going on in our lives and world. i dont think this means that we should give up or anyhting, i think it means that we should only press more to come together and be more unified. ive had these visions all my life about something happening one day, to me or my mind and a great change, and in the past couple of weeks these dark feelings have brought me on the verge of these visions. well this is getting long enough... i wonder what shroomism thinks...? hope this wasnt too long  .

i felt exactly like that... like o shit what am i doing... do i have cancer... should i have not been doing something? but i dont think that WE are wrong... but maybe something is just wrong with the world and we are feeling the vibes from the darkness within our world which is without a doubt THERE. but im sure you got this i think its just cool we all feel simmilar things

Me too. And I agree with Zero's description of "waves of darkness". That fits very well, from my perceptual vantage point.

yeah this is kinda weird...as a matter of fact i was also gonna post this feeling when i was deep in it. So when i saw the original i had to reply....all these posts sound similar...and we all(for the most part), never felt it this strong. I've been depressed before and i've felt hopeless before but nothing anywhere close to as strong as this. I've felt for the longest time that things are gonna change...with the world in general...and i too observe and question everything...everything has meaning,every moment....but when your in it all the meanings seem ominous. But as i said before what worked for me was to let go of all the things that were detremental to my growth....i had built up another wall and the only cure was to bring it down again. If you like Tool....you'll find very wise words. When you get to the point when you can feel the darkness melt away your going in the right direction. Just focus on your dreams and goals and remember the only one that can stop you is you.

also something thats become more dark is my drawings...almost anything that I draw comes out evil in some way...even when i try and avoid it..but im a the type of artist who cant stick with one picture in my mind so i go with the flow...lately that flow hasnt been what i look for in my drawings, beauty.

i think this is like where that darkness comes from, people make you feel like shit cause of something inside them so they just throw the darkness on you. people want someone else to blame or thrust upon. im sorry to hear that, people can be really shitty sometimes.

I don't know about this "darkness" but the days do seem to be getting along faster.
According to Mckenna and others things will only continue to speed up as 2012 approaches and "concrescense of novelty" approaches the maximum (0 on the graph)
Note: I'm not a 2012 "beleiver". That theory is only one of an infinite number of possibilities.

i too would like to hear anyones thoughts or if you can share your experiences with prophetic dreams....i have had many of these dreams mostly over the past 10 years...just dreams that mirror events that did take place....i don't know why but about 95% of the time they took exactly 2 days to come true. This runs in my family on my mother's side...except the 2 day thing is just me...i think. well anyways for the past year or so they've changed...into now what feels like deja vu... i don't remember them until the next day or so when the images flash back into memory like deja vu...like i was dreaming the thoughts that came to be the next day... i get a few each day sometimes none the others....but it is not just coincidence it's been way to on mark too many times, almost 100%. i used to know which dreams would come true...if i woke up drenched in sweat....but now like i said i don't remember them till the deja vu. well maybe should start a thread on these dreams. Zero7a1 our experiences are similar what have u come to expect from the future? Alot of us here on this forum seem to have felt some kind of guidance or seem to tap into what some people never notice. I believe that there will come a day when we will all unite and break free of the chains that have restricted us throught history, it's a stong feeling and even if you don't feel it you should be able to see the tide turning.....more people are aware of the way the world is heading and we will not be blinded forever. if we were to truly unite as the human race....we would see no boundaries in front or above us....only the stars.

im with you on like every word damn lol. um i dont know its weird, ive had these visions that arent really dreams and not really waking thoughts but that place in between and like ive been saying it seems like these visions bring out who i really am and put me somewhere in the future. i see a great break up soon like in march. 2 years ago i had a great awakening and like had an experience with the universe, i felt all these rushes from my head and body and all over, had these tingling sensations and like saw the universe as just one continuously enveloping web reflecting itself back over into infinity and this was the foundation for the universe. but it changed something in me and ever since i feel like ive been on a psychotic trip so to speak , learning taking in information. not too long ago i had a dream about a flood happening. before the 911 attacks i had a dream of a bull and all these pyramid like structures and egypt and the yin yang and all these different symbols and the bull was black and he was getting all fired up and he started wrecking into a tomb inside a temple and chopped off a piece of rock. i just had this thought in that dream that it was the beginning of some great change, a massive change that would not only involve me but the whole world. i also had a dream about 4 months ago where i was in this temple in egypt doing some kind of studies within the great pyramids about time and stars and constellations and i was looking through this telescope kind of thing but it was like a sextant watch, where i saw the time of the earth on like a planetary clock or something. and then these people came and left this door open and this pharoh escaped and i was really upset and yelled "you let him out!!!!". like some really bad shit was going to happen because this "pharoh" was let out. then this screen came up within the temple walls and it was speaking this old old language, i can still hear it in my head, i saw the clock, it was showing that some predicted time was going to come up like a synchronization of a whole bunch of a events was soon to come, and then i just saw on the screen people talking and fearing what was to come. this still hasnt happened yet, but it wasnt meant to happen within 2 days like you said yours do. but i have those within 2 days things too, and lately its been really odd, ive seen people in my dreams wearing clothes and seeing them the very next day with those clothes on. or seeing people i dont always see in the dream and seeing them the next day. and theres other visions that havent come true but just weird shit that feels like its transforming me i dont know. wow i wouldnt have thought my dream/life experiences would be so simmilar. i think we will amass and should. i just get these feelings like these things i talk about and see in visions are things im going to do and should make headway towards doing.

i dont see it as a time of darkness although thats what ive been feeling, ive felt waves of darkness. to me the times coming up are if they are to come true my most supreme freedom and birth to light i guess. i dont mean to be pessimistic, but i think we are just seeing the same thing but through different vantage points. ive felt a lot of dark things, sometimes i see and feel thigns that i dont believe in but i am supremely overrun by, then i get these intense light pervading thoughts, like in some other free world not restricted to anyhting that we are here. almost like an alien planet or the 4th dimension. i think right now it may seem like darkness to me cause maybe i am just beginning to wake up to the great tremendous change, along with other people feeling waves of darkness. this has great resemblence cause these feeligns are whats its like to have a nightmare, but what is to come i think shroomism sees as a llove and light lucid dream come true. but whether the rest of the world sees this change as light and love and goodness is another story, as you know people in our world are rather resistant to change and from what ive read people think they wont accept the truth and consquently will try to "hide in the dark" making us feel as if there is great trouble. but i write in hopes of getting people to wake up and maybe be ready for whatever happens or to learn about myself and be ready for whatever is to come in the future. i mean from what ive dreamt and felt in like these waking dreams is the need to assimilate i guess, just gather information truth and knowledge whatever it should be.

I was just laying in bed and drawing when I realized that, I have already had some visions of a Celtic Snake eating itself, and my visuals my CEV's on high doses seem to be completely compiled of a chain of Celtic symbols, "a circle with a different color ribbon meeting with the north the south the east and the west of the circle these ribbons no 2 colors touch, only the circle".
I am not very educated about this snake eating itself thing, and would like some info on it.

shit man... that two day dream prophecy thing happens to me too. and its funny you say it runs in your moms family. my mom has the same thing. itll be like out of the blue the night after i dream something, ill spontaneously recall details of the dream, little by little until i remember it all, and the next day some shit will go down

thats a very very good point, heh. people tend to think only about themselves, and then try to not think about how much shits gonna fuck up someone else... i call those republicans. but only becuz the majority of republicans are like that, not because that is the mindset of every republican. shit, most democrats are like that too. they just smoke pot while they're at it. these people are too lazy to give a shit for anyone else, and so they cast their burden upon you

I agree!! Its just gonna be a change. Huge changes are NEVER easy. It's like moving to a new house, or a new town. You may be very excited, and a happy but it is still a very stressful event, and can often be difficult to adjust to. (I know that example was ass, but its the best i can do)

wow this is really cool seeing others with similar experiences and sharing their thoughts. i also don't feel that it is a time of darkness...i just think that like others have mentioned that the begining of a whole new time in history..like all of the past and all of the generations of humans were pushing for this time.....when we really can connect to each other and become one tribe essentially. and the "darkness" for some of us is just a wake up call to let go of the bullshit we still cling to and move willingly to this new time...let go of the fear...and just be.
although i have thought for a couple of years now that something major is gonna happen and people will lose their lives. i too had a dream with water...i was on a big city street and it was night time and people were running everywhere nervously. i stood at the street intersection and looked up and saw huge waves coming down towering the skyscrapers when i saw this i held up a bible to the sky and screamed "jesus"! then i woke up. i don't believe in organized religion and i think the bible is exaggerated stories at best....but when i had that dream i still hadn't figured that out.
i also had a two dreams involving nuclear missles...one where i was playing football with friends when someone screamed "look out"! i ducked thinking it was a football...then i heard a loud screech and all the birds flew away...i looked up and saw a missle flying overhead and it impacted maybe a mile from our location...then everything turned to flames and blood. another dream where a missle hit a bridge. but i really hope those don't come true cause i just don't want it to be us humans responsible for so much death at once. time for the killing to stop.

if bush keeps pushing war with iraq... i dont know where the missles will be lol. my friend had a dream where he said he saw missle and the sky turned pink and we were all dead except for this one girl... but thats rather vague. if something does happen, i think there will be two sides, those who embrace and those who fall. maybe this is what is coming up, and we will wake up and embrace the new world and others who cant let go of their attachment will fall as this world or "old world" falls. thats exactly what i think of it like... a tribe. maybe all us shroomerites shall unite and be the new shroom tribe lol sorry i know lol. it would be cool though! not all the killing and nuclear missles and what not. all is in dissaray who knows what is to come. we should just "move to our new home" and be happy about changes within our lives. whether anything noticeable happens in t he physicacl world or not im still changing and i think we all will too. it will be a good lesson none the less.

like i was dreaming the thoughts that came to be the next day...
that's trippy... that happened to me two nights ago.. I'm not going to go into details cause maybe anticipation of what I thought might come of the last couple days had influenced the dream that actually came to happen, but either way it's really weird. Also, last night was my company christmas party, and I'm kinda hung over, and I haven't felt like this in a long time, so that could have an effect on why things feel so off....

Me too! I had this vision before I had ever seen or heard anything about that symbol. After I searched online for some stuff I came to find that it's called the Ouroboros by the Greeks and the same symbol existed throughout almost ALL ancient cultures. I will make a post about all the information I have gathered about it... It's fuckin crazy that you say you've had the same vision. Did you ever see or hear about that symbol before you saw it?
