I must confess.... My tolerance is too high.

Last night I took 5g ATL #7. Waited an hour and barely felt it.

Added 8g to my belly of the ATL #7. That's 12 grams. Still barely felt that too.

I really wanted to go full wizard so I added 4g TTBVI to the total. Hardly any visuals but I was at least high by then. I've been waiting 14-30 days between doses.

Getting excited about heading to the woods for labor day week. Always a blast with a few hundred of my closest frendz.

I need a full strength blast-off, my brain is really fucked up from all the family stress. I literally spent 2 days or so wondering/convinced that I had died and I just shifted over to some other hell realm. Everything was basically the same except my crazy family member was even more of a cunt and the insomnia really ramped up. I'm still kinda afraid she might actually try to burn the house down or something, so even if I sleep a little it's just nightmares.

I'm thinking of finally taking a solid dose and trying to fight some things I've put off for too long. It is tricky since I'm on remeron so I'm having trouble understanding how much is the right amount

I'm needlessly scared of a 'bad trip' because when I was 19 I had one of those typical first edible experiences where you don't feel anything and keep eating. It was like 30 hours of an emotional rollercoaster between very high highs and very low lows with no sleep LOL. Literally laughing out of tears. It didn't even come close to a string of night terrors I had in my early 20s waking up convinced I'm dying with my throat closing up from EoE, so I don't really know why I've been kicking the can along

~4g of PE was intoxicating but still minimal visuals maybe it didnt help i was just gaming with my boys. Only downside was nausea but i didnt get sick. I'm gonna try ~5g in two weeks

I used to have one of those moon Hoops you wife has churp. It got dropped in a pool and didnt survive

These days I have a few different varieties of those types of toys.

I've got some badass programmable  nunchucks from ignis pixel.  As well as one of there crazy flow staffs.

I can legit program like pictures of my face in them if I wanted to or write any message I feel like can make up all sorts of different patterns that aren't already preprogrammed.

They're pretty legit but not necessarily as fun because they're real heavy duty and you've got to be really good with them. 





Ive also got a full vision levi contact wand from flow toys.




Its one of my favorites. The whole thing lights up with  Super bright intense colors.  Crazy patterns tons of options.

I recommend this to the everyday person who doesn't necessarily have skills with it but just wants to play around and not have to worry about breaking it or anything.


It'll create fire effects as well as bouncing beads and balls pretty much any effect you've seen from any type of flow toy glow stick is packed into this little wand.

The flow sticks on the ends come out as well so you can start attach a staff into the middle of it if you want to and make it a lot longer.


I was playing with them out at the beach for sure.

These things absolutely make a trip all the better. Especially if somebody actually knows how to use them..  but even if not they're still really cool


Im Sure your wife already knows but ignis  pixel and floy toys have some of the best products of this type out there.  Be there or be square

Don’t worry about bad trips. I don’t believe in them. It means something is coming up you need to deal with. If you got a good internal will to confront that shit head on then I say fuck it.

For me, any time I have a “bad trip” I come out for the better cause I handled some shit.

I’m on 10 mg of Lexapro and managed to trip Sunday from .7g, everyone’s situations different though.

I've definitely been there many times. The worst was a halloween party when we made jungle juice with half a 100mg THC lemonade and, after the party ended and everyone had left, I drunkenly crushed the remaining half on the way to bed. Spent what felt like 6 hours lying on my back, positive that I was now an inch tall and paralyzed, repeating over and over in my head "nobody ever died from weed. nobody ever died from weed" on a loop. Genuinely  traumatizing.

Funny enough, I think weed experiences like this are really good preparation for difficult trip moments. That "talk yourself down while not fully believing your own words, paralyzed by laboratory pure terror" skill comes in very handy.

Once while tripping I got the idea, out of nowhere, that I had lost the ability to remember the face of everyone I had ever loved, and the "naaah, it feels like that, but you probably didn't" felt like at most a 4/10 difficulty compared to the really bad weed ones. Weed terror builds the muscle of talking yourself down from those.

I know everybody's different and I'm particularly prone to weed anxiety, but pot legit feels so much more psychologically harmful and medium-psychosis-inducing than mushrooms, both physically and mentally, at least for me.

God, another one was when my little brother worked at brookstone and had those little RC helicopters they sold. He was a very hardcore stoner, and gave me a small dab, which sent me directly into the void. And he was flying this RC helicopter and trying to land it on top of my head, which I was NOT okay with, but I was too stoned to move or speak, so I just kinda had to be frozen in time hating that entire experience. Awful stuff.

Shrooms have yet to do me like that. Once while tripping I saw a black orb start to float into the room and I straight up negotiated with it, like "look bro I get that you have some business with me or whatever, but I really do not have the bandwidth for this rn, so can we just... not?" and it floated right out.

I've tried to request that orb during a trip years later but he didn't show up. I still consider myself in debt after he did me that solid, gotta show up and face whatever it was eventually.

Yeah, I doubt this is the consensus take, but weed panic attacks are horrific and, at least for me, they leave a long haunting trail that always takes me a bit to get over.

I dosed myself into oblivion a while back testing a tincture I made for a work party, woke up in the night shaking uncontrollably and flying through a wormhole, and now taking even a small hit is just as likely to spin me up and make me uncomfortable as do what it’s supposed to, so I just gave it up a couple years ago.

Conversely, I don’t even remember the last time I had a trip that wasn’t shot through with some tough stretches, but mushrooms never fail to leave me with the post-baptism glow.

For sure I've had panic and short bursts of crying from putting something together etc, but for whatever reason its felt like much easier to manage thought loops while tripping - I don't obsess in the same way on one thing

Nice to hear all of your experiences, sometimes this community just gives you what you need when you need it

Ironically I love smoking weed and got back into edibles back in my early-mid 20s. Body can't handle them anymore unfortunately

+1 for 'love smoking weed'. And :2cents: it's all tolerance. When I was 14, and couldn't get high from that stuff my friends were so enthusiastic about, I smoked three shoddy joints back to back. Tripped like a mfer. There were letters running over walls. Had to cross some train rails and the sound of the crossing barrier pursued me all the way home (ching ching ching CHING CHING CHING).

Saw one of my best friends hide under a table and literally cry for his mother, while on edibles. When all of us were daily smokers, but we just went all out with the edibles. This happened way before the 30% THC strains entered the market.

THC is pretty strong stuff. But once your tolerance is up, it doesn't seem to do much at all. When I was a speedfreak, I'd snort away a couple of grams without any trouble. Give that to a regular non-user, gl. Our ket-enthousiast friends easily chow down 4 or 5 grams during a night at a festival. Things only go wrong when they dole out lines to people with normal sensitivity. Those pass out immediately. Scary stuff to stand next to with a head full of acid.

Anyway

Hippie, you asked about the cats. I don't know why exactly. It's something about wanting company during a shroom trip, something to cuddle. But not a human. I love tripping with friends or the wife, but maiden voyages are stuff to do alone. Humans are too distracting, plus I feel obliged to support their journey, listen to what they want to say etc. When maybe I just want to write for hours, or giggle stupidly, or cry like a motherfucker.

Cats are awesome company, but they connect on a very direct, physical level. Free of judgement and free of societal values. They don't want to talk about their mother-kitten relationship at a time when focussing on such a story is really difficult, or ask questions about the French Revolution. Or, when some insight on your own mother-kitten relationship dawns on you, explain the inexplainable about Sesame Street.

Anyway today's the day. Princess Charming here, and her friend dr. Meatball, will be my companions.
