Holy crap these things blew my head off last night
Wasnt really expecting they would be so strong.. The subs ive had before were really different to this. Lots more visuals and unco-ordination and generally a different feeling with these B+. We ate about 2.5g each dried, and the trip lasted a solid 6 hours or so. Damn that was fun!
Thanks again shroomery!

Sorry to bump this thread, but had to post these pics of 2 beauties that came from the 2nd flush. Got my biggest shroom so far today, off one of the LC cakes on its 2nd go. I know its not massive but Im loving it for a 1/2 pint cake mushroom!
I forgot to get a wet weight but it weighs 18g now after drying for 10 hours. Here it is (freshly picked):
And a freakin gorgeous mushroom from the casings' second flush:
Ok thats it!

Nice work. Great to see all your hard work payd off.
To answer your question about your yeilds. yes thats not bad for cakes. I have see cakes do much more.
Recently there was a post about 1/4 pint cake giving 153 grams wet over 2 flushes. Which is inredibly good.
Ive had a quick skim over this thread and like to clear up a few things.
On glovebox's
Quote:
The secret to how a glovebox works is still air. Many growers waste endless time and energy trying to Lysol and bleach the inside of their gloveboxes, when a simple washing with soap and water would suffice.
The reality is that wind currents are what drives contaminants into our sterile media. If we can stop the air from moving, we can safely open a Petri dish for a short period of time with reduced chances of contaminant spores entering. Of course, no sterile procedure is going to be 100% successful, so it’s important to inspect your dishes daily so you can immediately transfer your healthy mycelium away from any contaminants that may appear.
Calibrating hygrometers is simple. I seen that you used the salt method?? which will only calibrate your meter upto 70% rh range.
Wrap it in a damp towel for 1 hour and adjust to read 99%.
