I use grain water agar for mine. The recipe is rather loose: 1L of grain water, ~1g nutritional yeast, 18g agar.

Wheat and canary grass seed have done best for me. They do fine on other grains but they perform best on those.

My martha bounces between 88-95% rh. When I’m fruiting zaps I turn my fans down and my humidifier up. You want things to stay wet in there. If your tubs aren’t pooling it isn’t wet enough. Pour off the excess water daily. You can dial it back as they mature but I like to keep them soaked until caps open.

I see my best results in the colder months when my indoor temps are in the mid-high 60’s. I don’t bother with them during the summer.

Ideal FAE is about the same as what you’d give pans but it’s important that you don’t let them dry out. My martha itself is unmodified, I just leave the zipper open on the bottom shelf with a fan down below to move fresh air up. The rest will vary depending on your climate. glhf 😮‍💨

Thanks! That's a tough question. I love the whole section but as far as Zapotecorum potency, Tapalpa, Texolo and one of the Jalisco varieties seem to be noticeably more potent. A little harder to grow well but worth the effort.
As for ease of growth.. Popocatpetl and Barrerae are the reigning champions. It might be I've been lucky with culture selection but I've worked with multiple cultures of both and they're quite consistent regardless of which culture.
Cinco Palo is nice and kind of a tweener. There's some newer finds I haven't tried yet but if I was only allowed three for the rest of my life it would likely be Tapalpa, Barrerae and Popocatpetl. At least today anyways.
