I'm hoping to get a print of the landslide mushrooms after I get access to that portion of the forum. Everytime I've looked for culture it has been stupid expensive

Outside here too. I had an over-pressure plug fail resulting in a damaged hood fan. It’s ok now but It wouldn’t turn off for 10 days. After properly drying out it now works fine. She was pissed.🤡

I recently recovering from substance abuse disorder and actively going to therapy. Trying to maintaina  good job and I've got a great opportunity to start at a ocmpany I really like (The owner is from near my hometown, even though we are both in a place over 1,200 mi away from there in NY) and I hope I get the job. It's been 48 hours and I was suposed to hear something today though, so I am not getting my hopes up or forming bubles.

I confess that I cleaned a bunch of unused agar plates. They have been sitting in my SAB for a long time. Some were dried up. I also disassembled my work area and put everything into storage. Had various different mushies dried in bags, some spawn with stones in them, and wood chips colonizing. Got rid of them, too. I kept my archive of germ plates, swabs, and prints so I have a good starting point when I get back at it.

I'm not whole. There are things within myself that need fixin'. Cult and the rewards that come from it do not have a place in my life right now. I'm very fortunate to have you guys. My interactions here have given me direction toward healing as well as a source of motivation to do better. Thank you for being here for me.

I'm not leaving, but I won't be culting for a little while. When I came here, I was looking for answers in the context of mental health. At the time, I was close to being whole again. I was very close to shaking this monkey off my back. Fortunately, I had the balls to reach out for help again so to try to get back on track. I don't feel like I'm too far off from where I was a year ago. I'm hoping that I'll be back to or ahead of that point in my journey soon. Maybe in a few months, even. We'll see.

We come here to cultivate mushrooms, we learn to cultivate our lives in the process.


I confess, big things, massive things, are in the works. Been a hell of a time fighting off insecurities and I suppose they will always be.

Ram Dass said that after a while, they pop up again and you can greet them like an old friend at a tea party. Ah, you again. Come, sit, rest.  Instead of, oh no! You again! And the running and hiding. Life is the real trip, mushrooms just try to show you what's possible.

Psychedelics can help, but they are only part of the picture. You'll still need to do the work. Think of the shrooms as a hotel or tent in the yard that you can stay in while the house is under renovation. They give you somewhere safe to be. Therapy is the consultant that can help you figure out what work needs to be done and advise you on how to begin. The shrooms can help you internalize and make the resulting changes of that work permanent. The bulk of the work will still be your responsibility to do. I wish you luck and lots of love,  change doesn't come from a place of comfort.

I feel this big time. I had a similar thing happen, even though it was partially due to shoulder injury. I got that all fixed up and was doing great with PT, but I managed to tear the fucker again. Not sure if anything can be done to fix it, so my already fragile mental state got shattered. Life has its boot so far up my ass I can taste the leather, and I'm not really sure what to do. I've basically given up on a lot of shit, which is driving my gf insane, so something has to give. I've kinda put some feelers out in hopes of finding a therapist who won't roll their eyes at psychedelic therapy OR my actual, profound but hard to process experience kinda recently. I feel like most of them would listen to what I had to say, then never actually take me seriously ever again. I have friends telling me that's not the case, my reply is ok think about telling them the story of my crazy DMT/changa experience that you witnessed firsthand. And then add in all the other stuff I experienced when I wandered off for a day and a half.

Ok I'm done, back to whatever you were talking about. Crawling back into my dark hole now.

You should give it a shot at least. You might have to try a few different therapists before you find the one that can help you, but that's better than not handling whatever shit you're dealing with.
