I could feel the jaws of the tweezers clamping down onto individual nerve endings before she ripped another small piece of flesh from the bottom of the widening wound. "Ah, shoot. Missed it again.", she chuckled. I started to pass out when she stopped and called to the other room. "Derek! I need some light! Get in here!" Derek came hobbling in from the hall. He was about a four foot tall, rotund dwarf, ball gagged and bound with black vinyl tape with a D cell maglite strapped to his sweaty bald head. He had a small wooden stool chained to his left ankle that dragged behind him. I realized I was tapping my foot to the rhythmic scuffle of his feet and scoot of the stool as he made his way to the room. The shuffle scoot stopped. Derek hops up on his stool, the nurse clicks on the light. "Alright... now lemme show you where to shine that light", the nurse said spitting into the wound then wiping away the saliva and blood with the cuff of her shirt sleeve. "There." A hot poker in my side, the clicking and snapping resumes. I look down at Dereks grimacing face. He looks up at me shaking his head, mumbling and bubbling behind the ball gag. To this day, I'm not sure what he said to me. I didn't have a chance to ask at the time since I passed out from the pain immediately after. When I came to, I was laying in my boxers at the end of my driveway. My chest slathered in ointment, a bandage on my knee, and an open wound on my side. The dead leaves and pebbles from my driveway stuck to me as I stood up. Tire skid marks hashed off the end of my driveway, across a 4x4 stump where my mailbox once stood, and into the ravine next to the driveway. "Shit", I choked. My car is in the ravine, hazard lights still flashing. What a ride...

I've never fasted other than not eating most of a day when ive been depressed and/or lazy.  I find that eating often throughout the day is what keeps me happiest and my body running at full capacity.

And I think about muscle loss and all that. Being in these "advanced years" (the 30s plateau) if I miss keeping up on my physical health inflammation, pain, and muscle loss/ strength loss accumulates quickly and takes longer to bring back to normal.

I do notice my guts feel much better when im not eating sugars and fats.

Getting some of that noise out of my head earlier in the week helped. Even more, you guys recognized the tune. Made me feel better knowing there is a light. When my mind isn't crippled with poisonous thoughts, it goes right back to cartoon network as you see in the tick story.

I missed you guys but I didnt want to bring my bullshit around here and bum you out. Thanks for helping me again and again. I hope I can give it back someday. Mush love, man.

Just because I'm curious and different people mean different things, what did you do to fast? 

One way I know of fasting is not eating food "while the sun is out" and during the day you can drink something that has nutrients and electrolytes.  Is that what you did?
