Let me start off by saying that strawboy was no noob when he joined this community, but we still want to recognize and shine some light on this great member because it is well deserved.

I do not know if it was intentional or not, but strawboy quietly entered these halls 20/04/25 :bongload:
Almost a month later he made his first post (in the panaeolus thread, where most of his post count seems to accumulate), and it was already obvious that he knew his way around mushroom cultivation.

Almost half of his post count was made over the next year, and the second half has been made in the last 2-3 months, which means he's posting more frequently and we are all lucky for it. Every post is well written, to the point, and always made with the intent of providing help to those who need it. I, for one, have already learned a lot from him. I always read his posts with high interest and I know the information comes from experience, which is of great value, at least to me.

Every grow he shares is a work of art and I think we can all agree that whoever composts 500g of pans and still keeps inoculating bags is someone who is dedicated to the craft and not just in it for the buzz. I'll also just mention that the pictures are as high quality as the rest of his work.

I want to suggest taking a look at his journal as well; a lot of good information and great teks can be found there.

We are real happy you joined this community strawboy. We hope you stick around for a long time, and know that your contribution here is appreciated. If you want to share a little bit about yourself, how and why you came into this hobby, I would love the read it, but I respect and understand if you would rather not.

Strawboy, since you've joined I've had to wear bibs to catch all the drool from your pics.  Unreal how tuned-in you are with the fungus.  Your methods have expanded my mind in a very shroomy way and my gratitude for that cannot be understated.

Man, what a write-up Kloakk. I got something in my eye while reading it. Thank you so much for the recognition—this really made my day!

I’m just someone who fell in love with the technical challenge and art of cultivation. The Panaeolus thread has been a second home, and I love being able to share what I've figured out along the way to help save others some trial and error.
