Nice. I think you’re a while away from harvesting. I let caps darken and drop spores before I print. I print in small volume containers and can get multiple prints per cap.
Don’t be in a hurry or the results might be disappointing.

Yep same procedure as with cubes but I'd wait until they darken quite a lot more before doing so.

I was going to ask the same question as rotvelta as I’m starting to see some spore drop but sounds like I need to wait too. Or should I pluck the cap that’s starting to drop?

It’s not as cubes, you should watch how colour of the gills are changing, once it turns dark (purple)there are already spores. I found very useful for subtropicallis to place wet paper towel on top. just make it wet under tap and then squeeze so there are no excessive water amount to ovoid wet foil and let prints to  dry properly afterwards

Are those Muda bottles? They look great.
I let them get dark chocolate. The potency is increased and the spores drop nicely. I use to add a drop of water on the caps but since I’ve waited for really dark caps and use small tubs  I haven’t seen the need.

I'm with the Tao but I let them go even longer sometimes tbh. They're super potent at chocolate brown though.

Yep! Coir/verm, millet and worm castings in 500ml PP5 screw top containers. Amount of grain to bulk works out at around the equivalent of a 1:3 spawn ratio.

Although I got a bit of a surprise yesterday when I had a closer look at the one of the bottles that was only putting out a couple of small fruits and realised it was chock full of trich that wasn't visible from above through the verm casing. I can't imagine how many spores were being circulated by the 24/7 fan in my Dreamer tub but somehow all the other bottle look spotless. I really should give the tub a bleach clean I guess asap.

Finally got around to trying the slow ones I grew over a year ago.

I’d say they’re about 4x cubes. They also either took like an hour and forty five minutes to really hit or I just didn’t realize how high I actually was for a while because the trip is different.

Bro you don't even understand how long those will last if you let them grow until full potency:naughty: best part is that they keep flushing for over a year if you're lucky and you've got the same genetics I've got which usually enter the next flush fast (sometimes before you harvest the first one) so you'll be drowning in Semps man:lol: 0.25-1g gets you a looooong way with these. I dare to advocate they feel like around 5-10x the potency of cubes at their peak.


Edit: Jesus Christ... These bastards are fast. Even though I gave them slightly more than 1:10 ratio in a 47 litre tub they've colonised this much in just 6 days. It's faster than the Ochras I run side by side with these.

Consumption itsself for me is never fully enjoyable, but even with that I've found most magic from fresh semps which generally makes up for any squeamishness in getting em into me.
+only had em dried once, and in a mix of types, so can't really judge dry semps effects alone.

So as an aside with what AZ said, I worry folks would undershoot their dose and not get the Semp magic, of course the opposite is what we try to avoid but I also don't like to be underwhelmed.

Personal notes, I have found mine nice n strong but not to a factor of 10x personally, or even quite 5x really but closer to perhaps some where between 3-5% stronger, maybe a solid 4% for examples:
30g wet (so what, 2.somethinglow dry?) easily hit beyond 5g dry of mutant cube like Ghost has, with largely incomparable effect from the freshness, way stronger than what I expected in that instance, but eye opening as to what they can do.

16g ish wet throughly chewed over ten mins (some sublingual effect perhaps?) came to one of my top 3 trips and felt strength/ headspace wise like 4g of liberty caps- surprisingly strong long trip, with a sort of turbulent 'teetering on the edge' glee from so much psilocin, presumably. After this trip, I couldn't have imagined eating 30g fresh, given how strong and THOROUGHLY satisfying 16g wet was.
And another time for 16g, indoors that time, but in tea form gave about the same level of trip with slightly decreased legs+potency.

Several 9gish wet doses this year have been small but quite gratifying trips more akin to like 1.5 grams of dry mutant cube, great for meditating and listening to music. I'm always left wanting a little more though but it's certainly still a nice trip.

YMWV obviously but I don't feel properly comfortable judging the dose response curve on these considering how much non linear difference each time fresh weight is doubled/ in this case halved.

Just something to consider.

Bro I've been thinking about that and I can't understand how you didn't get further at that dose, 1.8g split up over 3 doses was the heaviest trio I've ever had with the most intense and beautiful visuals I've ever seen. Just a few days ago I had several doses of 0.3 which felt mild but then the day after I took a few 0.45 doses before a last 0.80 followed by an 0.90 to spice things up and that shit hit me like a fucking Baseball bat, I spent the evening with my eyes jammed wide open being impressed and in awe over everything I could see:lol:

Which variety is yours? They sound a lot different from mine or perhaps is just me experiencing them differently.

My super dark ones have been around 5x potency (by feel) most of the time where an 0.2 feels like around 1-2g cubes imo and sometimes they feel like even more but it could also be due to the intense effect so I've got no clue if they're actually 5-10x alkaloids, seems like around 25mg/g is standard for strong ones but someone in here had them at over 50mg/g in a miraculix test so I ain't gonna act like I know what's really up, they're just scary potent lol.

I do agree... There is no point in doing ridiculously high doses with these because a "normal" high dose hits like a horse haha.

They are for sure potent! I haven't had any high doses of semps yet. I was gifted some exotics sample shrooms from a awesome person, so I think I'm gonna have a dose tonight, but to be honest the semps frightens me a bit and I havn't had a high dose in over a year, maybe I feel brave tonight:tongue2:

You ain't gonna regret it man, just don't be too brave:naughty: or do... If you've got enough to do so I'd recommend doing at least 2 doses, 1 to figure the potency out and another to send you away. You also get a much smoother experience like this:rolleyes:

Yeah, I will see:grin: Last time I had a 0.5 starter with a follow up 0.3 and I remember I regretted not taking more, yeah it's wise to stage the dosing of these shrooms, I think a dosing woopsie with these could have consequences :mushroom2::mushroom2::biggrin:
