Yuck.. reading any kind of Newsom support really makes me want to vomit.

Now I'm more closely understanding rationale for all the near-visceral hatred most anti-Trump people have around here.

Gavin sucks but he's not a black woman. He has executive experience.  He's super connected and he's positioned himself a mean tweet guy like Trump but for the shitlibs.  The Dems are going to continue to fight against progressives at all costs so He'll probably be the anointed candidate.

Lol. Have been paying that in CA for decades. We’re closer to $7/gallon here :cookiemonster:

But also, get an EV, they’re better in every way. The car we drive is an EV, and gets the equivalent of 95mpg, or 1/4 the cost of a gas car per mile driven. They are incredibly efficient by comparison to ICE (energy cost via heat loss).

Also, if you have solar it costs $0 to drive - then it’s truly one less thing to be pissed at the government about, because you have taken the government out of the equation lol..

The only problem is that decent Chinese EVs are hard to get in the US.

Although with 100% tariffs and taxes on top, they're still cheaper than a midrange Ford.
