But that's not accurate. To end a war in the manner being sought, both sides of have to make concessions.

And that aside and just for the record, this "do not capitulate at all to Russia and keep the war going" narrative is just crazy to keep hearing. Thousands of people are dying every week. The people of Ukraine and Russia are (overall) exhausted and both want the war to end. Whatever we can do to end the killing is more important. It's better to fight with words than bullets, which can and will continue long after the killing stops.
