Now Ive got PC paranoia.

What would be the best way to white glove clean the inside? Mine has mad rust in it and I should probably clean and inspect. 😬

Can you swab a shroom AFTER you print it?

Why are the caps cracking, tho? I read it's too much moisture and not enough moisture. Not sure where to go on this. I have been lightly misting the cakes to keep them hydrated.

I harvested (twist and pull style) some last night and today. They are in the fridge. I really want to clone some of these bigger fruits. Will they be ok to clone after refrigeration?

By the way, the largest was 65g fresh. I was hoping to get into the triple digit club on my first go! 😆

I've got some super aggressive B+ clones I just took transfers from last night that were in the fridge for a few days while the other tub caught up.

The manual for the prestos suggest something about using citric acid/and or cream of tartar and a simple soaking scrub with it or something like that.

Pay close attention to the pitting description in the instructions in the first pic. and how to avoid it/what causes it

One of these instructions contradicts the other. One is from Google and one is from the Presto website. Google says don't use an abrasive scouring powder cleaner. Prestos website says do use and abrasive scouring powder at least once a year.

Ok, i sanded the bottom of my pc but did not go down all the way to remove the deepest pits. I contacted Presto and this was the reply i got back from them.

You have a very light case of what we call “Pitting" in your canner. It’s always safe to use. Galvanic corrosion is quite common and results from the interaction between two different metals. The first is aluminum in the pan and the second would be any metal in your water supply or copper pipes, if you have any at home. To reduce this effect, thoroughly clean the inside of the autoclave body with an abrasive cleaner. Do not leave water in your container for a long time after canning. When cleaning is finished, carefully dry the inside of the pot. We recommend using a soap-impregnated steel wool pad like SOS or Brillo pads in the bottom of your autoclave.
If you notice increased corrosion at the bottom of your canner, you will need to switch to distilled water.

This is what it looks like now and I will keep a picture record after runs to make sure they do not increase in depth or size. I apologize if I set of hysteria but wanted to get the word out on something we can fix and maybe prevent damage to new equipment. I did not tell them i put a stainless trivet in the pc but I'm sure they suspected it.

Looking good now!!

I definitely Thoroughly dry it out. After each use. And I leave the lid turned upside down resting on top. Because of those pitting issues. I'll dry the lid and gasket .  and come back in about 10 minutes just to confirm everything is completely dry.

Noob here again! Not sure what's going on in here. This is/was a grain bag of bacterial PE that I decided to top fruit about 7 days ago. Is this mold?

Any disadvantage to using Josex' pokes for A2A transfers aside from possibly slower growth? They're so much faster than cutting wedges that I'm tempted to try it for cleaning up the APE spores I got recently.

🎵Blobs, bla.. bla bla, blobs.... you've got... Blobs, bla.. bla bla, blobs...🎶

I don't see anything too worrisome. Harvest your blobs, make tea or dry em. Let things keep fruiting. See what happens. Harvest any more blobs and hopfully you get some regular fruits before it's time to chuck it
