My original question was asking how rare morel fruits are on a petri. People gatekeep info like the fucker I posted - wouldn't share his agar recipe or culture. I thought all the morels being cultivated had no flavor so I figured something was off with their process or something. I haven't looked in a while but I've never seen a step-by-step guide being used?

Tbh I just want to branch out from actives and learn more. Morels was just the example I used

If you want an easy intro to gourmet, get some oyster LC, put it on grain, pasteurize some straw, put it in a modified 5 gal bucket, set outside and wait.

Super easy.

I would definitely hide how I got them to do that, but tbe real answer is culture selection.  Also, just because it fruits well on a plate doesn’t mean it will fruit well when when spawned.  I’m also very skeptical of those pictures, if we’re being honest.

Eat shit.  If I came up with a method through my own hard work that could finally lift my and my best friend’s family out of poverty I would absolutely patent that shit and hold it close to my chest.  After our families got their needs met I might selectively share it so other close friends could do the same.

I have given away thousands of hours teaching people cult, hunting, gardening, and fishing for free.  I do it because it’s right, even though it means I stay poor.  I don’t have any issues using one single thing I figured out to help those close to me with things like medical bills and home ownership.
