Yeah bruising from shaking is imo always bacteria. That shit never happens normally. I made a thread on bruising here saying that the whole handling/spraying bruising is a myth, and barely anyone said anything that would prove otherwise. I was shocked because it is a pretty bold thing to outright say considering everyone says it can bruise from handling
@dank that is true. I've also seen bruising from a substrate that was turning yellow from being dry. The moment it was misted the yellow areas started bruising at that moment. Which still IMO indicates it was just too dry to begin with, and rehydration caused the yellow dying myc to turn blue from it. Not sure about the science behind it tho. It was just an observation.
Quote:
- psillyshrooms Also notice that the mycelium is yellowing, and "dying". It is another indication things got too dry. The mycelium also bruised blue after a mist because it was recovering.

So, here's a thread where nothing is off topic as long as you can somehow draw a connection between it and cultivation. I don't have any major topic suggestions, but if you're looking for something worth talking about, you could start with genetics, lineages, site/community project suggestions, "dafuq is this?" type posts, requests for assistance pointing to your own thread, disputing current techniques, etc. So, if that's all, and I think it is, go ahead and cut loose.

Which is in proper trials now, So I will keep the TEK that I'm attempting in consolidation and Break it down before releasing and can wait to present successful results* (finger-crossed)
I've had some success already.. just not that well.. As few pins pop up but has a 50/50 chance of Growing or aborting.

I don't think that works as well as we might like. If you look at high scores, just on the first page, an "Unfuckables for Hillary" post has 11 +1s, while most other posts, at best get up to 4 or 5. I know I will +1 if it is a really good reply to something posted, whether that something is of significance or not.

I wanted to post this here but the thread got locked so I ended up posting it to cult pic of the day. Way more relevant here though.
I just made this thing based on the monotub design, I'm going to use it to test clones and isolates in the future. Thoughts?
I figured instead of taping the holes I could just put the lids on the small trays while the sub colonizes.
BTW ignore the humidifier and fan, those are for my oyster grows.

Also: Just got an APE syringe, excited to work with this cube finally.

Yes fewer cuts and thus much less time with the plate open.
Yes you can imagine tic tac toe but i just use a rectangle. With one scalpel sterilization i can have 10 transfer pieces made.
Best i can do on a picture, i just googled rectangle made of squares.

If i was doing twenty transfers from one plate id cut two rectangles on opposite sides of the plate, cut the rectangles into ten pieces each muchcfaster than twenty individual square cuts.
Since the squares are precut, after the grid is cut the plate iz open for literallyless than one seconds to retrieve each of the next squares to transfer
-------------------- But if you're in a hurry, and really got to go If you're in a hurry, might have to find out slow That it's one thing to try and another to fly You get there quicker just a step at a time It's one thing to bark, another to bite The show ain't over till you pack up at night
