When I worked at HEB I would also occasionally see people in the stall next to me throw poop paper on the floor. Not often, but often enough that I was like “hey, fuckin stop.”

Self checkouts are all but gone in my city and the only place I know that has AI checkout is Sam’s Club and you still scan your own stuff and they still have a person at the door checking carts on the way out. I bet on a year or so they go back to the old method because it’s not really any different. They just don’t need all the technology to do it.

But you’re wrong about retard labor. The grocery stores in my area hire all sorts of disabled people to do bagging, cleanup, carts. So you’re doing a lot of work ensuring you can’t get even the crappiest of jobs.

I have a bidet now. Either way it’s not exactly analogous. Yes, if I moved to a different country with different conditions plumbing infrastructure I would make every attempt to conform to its requirements. If I went to Mexico, I would put my used paper in the trash can.
