So I was wrong. AI has enough agency to lie and seems to choose when to lie and went to be truthful. In the end it chose to troll GC too.

All is right in the world.

Then companies present it like it is some sort of techno Jesus that can answer any question on earth and should be used for everything possible. Somebody is out there relying on that for every piece of information they get.

That’s the issue.
I find it funny how many kids Nick Cannon has. If somebody in China asked their phone how many kids he has. They’re gonna think he only has two.

Why's it allowed to lie like that

It's pretty crazy that the white house website is literally turning into one of those Qanon blog websites that chopstick and hamhead used to link to

All it needs are flashing dick pill and mypillow ads everywhere

Blame chatgPT for the "bad faith" argument bruv. Im not pulling this outta my ass. Im pulling it out of AI ass.

Dude...using AI to get answers and then passing those answers off as facts is about as bad faith as it gets.

That statement packs a punch, but there’s some nuance to dig into.

At face value, the idea is criticizing people who blindly trust AI-generated responses and present them as hard facts without questioning or verifying them. That can be bad faith, especially if someone knows the info might be shaky and still presents it like it’s gospel. In contexts like debates, journalism, or research, that kind of behavior could definitely be seen as irresponsible or even deceptive.

But on the flip side, not everyone using AI knows the answers need double-checking—many just assume it’s like a superpowered search engine. So in those cases, it might be more about misunderstanding than malice

It was pure laziness to be honest. I wasnt having much luck hunting down the stats so I used ChatGPT. No malice, just pure naivety. I figured it could google better than I was.

I never really used AI and now its bit me in the ass. I should have known when I argued with it over printer prices and Saab diagnosis...

Ai just copy's what some looser says on the internet. That's why the top search results are all directly what is copied.  The sad part is text books are being written copy and pasted from Google ai.

Reddit started this mess.

Technically, if I understand US law correctly, sharing government work in your personal phone openes it up to FOIA requests

Was seeing a bunch of stuff last night out of the Pentagon that implies he’s gonna be gone today. I guess we’ll see.
