Oh i read that old pins have a risk of rotting. I basically just scraped the sides a bit to get the pins. It’s been way over a month, i already harvested pins once, and these guys were also getting old. There’s just way too many to harvest normally. Some people say they just get reabsorbed so i guess i should have left it. Welp. We’ll see what happens.

I always pick off any festering pins when going to another flush but if the sub is healthy ya they should just fuzz up back into mycelium or continue growing

Dang that seems quick. The guy I got the spores from told me they take a long time indoors and that it's not worth it but elpico got ovoid pins in like 6 weeks on straw in a high fae/humidity fc

I figure niveos and ovoids are similar but then again who knows not many people have really grown either of these indoors much and it depends on genetics you end up with too

When the sub aborts the pins it'll reabsorb them however it seems fit.

As far as the timeline goes I have these:

I spawned a tub on:

Variety Country Cock:

  12-3  spawned    Harvested 1-22
  11-30 spawned    Harvested 1-17
  11-30 spawned    Harvested 1-1

Maybe instead of the cultivation picture thread this could be directed toward Quick Questions

x7X+s are the best even at 1:2 ratios. Harvested and dried these 2 shoeboxes 2 days ago for 26 gr dry weight.



And this last box is getting harvested today, my first "almost full canopy" :grin:



I have 2 mason jars full of over 50 gr of dried shrooms and I barely take 3gr per trip, I finally accepted I do this more because of the fun of growing than tripping :regularshroom:
