I got a subtropicalis syringe a while back and put it to PDA agar.  Looked suspect and I never did anything with it.  Kept syringe in fridge and will definitely give it another go.  Are the genetics from commercial sources OK?

I just recently discovered pans and had the trip of my life on 0.68g of TTBVI and then I read reports that semps are the holy grail and even better than pans.

I have to get semps going now.  Thank all of you good folks for posting and sharing on here.  Truly life saving and life changing stuff!

The semp print from RoscoeReturns provided some plate plins. I put a plin in LC last July. I dispensed small amounts for small grows and I still have LC. This is what it looks like today:



I have some pints and quarts of millet colonizing. So far I’ve only succeeded with 8 oz aio dishes.  Larger grow attempts contaminated without fruiting.
One of the jars is growing since December. I might try mycellated grain with it.
