Generative Music AI * 4
    #28577287 -

I've been playing with suno.ai music model the last few days. The music focused one is suno's chirp model (they also have a text to speech model named bark which is awesome in its own ways).

It's pretty wild. As far as I can tell it's completely generative rather than algorithmic/sample based, meaning the sounds are created upon generation. The results are pretty crazy.

Edit: Deleted original videos on this post from youtube, so I'm editing them out of the OP so they aren't just dead links.

Robot Takeover - Test Deck Music

Wheels on the Bus by The Wheels - AI Music Generation

Cobblestone - Test Deck Music | AI Generated Downtempo Trip-hop Beat

"Down the Path" | AI Music - 70s Rock, Early Electronic and Synth Sound

AI Generated Music: Gypsy Jazz & Bossa Nova | Chill, Lounge, Café, Study Music

Made these over the last week or so. Things are getting more eerily human sounding with newer models coming out. Within a couple years I'd probably assume the majority of digital music is more ai assisted than not.

I was curious how AI generated music would sound. Eventually I’ll get around to writing a piano song with AI. Although by that time those artificial 0 and 1’s will probably outdo my own biochemical 0 and 1’s.

Epic Man!

Ive been playing with AI-generated music semi-lately too. I use MAGIX Music Maker AI software.

Heres a track I made:

I wrote the lyrics but put them thru a text-to-voice generator.

Its wild how some of the AI-generated music actually sounds good! Most of it is OK and some of it is horrible but sometimes I get some really cool sounds and melodies.

Ive been also playing with Voice AI software namely Voiceflip. Its so fun! Its awesome :awesomenod:

Heres two tracks I made covering the same song:

Suno is dang neat. It makes songs in no time.

I went in reverse order. I found Suno first and then moved on to RVC (which is older tech). I've been having fun making silly cover songs.

Here's SpongeBob singing Lightning Bolt by Jake Bugg

So when you're generating stuff, you can continue from whatever time marker in the generation you're continuing from. You can end up with dozens of branches going that all take different directions from where you leave off. I've been taking some of these branches, which are in the same tempo, key and timber, and cutting samples from them. Then rearranging in a DAW. Can make pretty consistent songs doing so.

Mindless Melody - Trip-Hop, Downtempo, Chill-Out | AI Generated Music

I figured what good is this if we don't make a song about The Shroomery?

Digital Eden

Lyrics:
Neon lights and whispers low
The Shroomery, where knowledge grows
Mycelial threads, a curious maze
Spores of wisdom in a digital haze

Tek IDs and hidden names,
We gather here in wisdom's flames
Trip reports flow, experiences shared,
A sacred space, where minds are bared

Fruiting chambers, humid and bright,
Mysteries bloom from day to night.
Cultivation tips and tek galore,
The Shroomery opens knowledge's door

Tripping through the cyber-wild
Psychedelic minds, untamed and riled
Cultivating dreams with fervent hands
We're the Shroomery, our spirit expands

From newbies seeking a gentle guide
To seasoned psychonauts reaching wide,
The Shroomery's wisdom knows no bound,
Where curious souls and insights are found.

Spore prints traded, mycelium's might,
We delve in darkness, seeking the light.
Fungal wisdom, ancient and vast,
The Shroomery bridges future and past.

Cautionary tales and joyous finds,
We navigate the psychedelic binds.
The Shroomery, a haven so bright,
In the vastness of the digital night

Tripping through the cyber-wild
Psychedelic minds, untamed and riled
Cultivating dreams with fervent hands
We're the Shroomery, our spirit expands

From spores to spawn, the journey gleams
Through screens and wires, we share our dreams
The veil gets thin, the truth ignites
A community bound by fungal rights

Tripping through the cyber-wild
Psychedelic minds, untamed and riled
Cultivating dreams with fervent hands
We're the Shroomery, our spirit expands

The Shroomery, a virtual hive
Where knowledge blooms and connections thrive
Bytes and blooms, a mystic blend
The Shroomery, a digital garden where growth transcends

Did you have to feed it a bunch of I formation about the shroomery or did it know all that on its own? :tinfoil:
