Two new long awaited albums just arrived in my mail box this morning:

Apparently this sweet Danish act has switched labels, their other releases are all on CreamCrop.

Genetic Spin: Backspin (Nervine 2004)

1. Birds MP3
2. Lord of the strings MP3
3. Flowmotion MP3
4. Aclon MP3
5. Local dadios MP3
6. Side FX MP3
7. Full onion MP3
8. Lord of the strings (Silicon Sound Rmx) MP3

You can check out other releases by Genetic Spin way back somewhere in this thread.

Swedish act "Atmos" had a striking release four years ago called "Headcleaner", that more or less made cult status.

Atmos: Headcleaner (Spiral Trax 2000)

1. Fill the hat
2. Average beverage
3. Sonic kipper
4. Cable enable
5. Jimmy the plate
6. Qualitaet im quadrat
7. Scientific coverup

Now the time has finally come for a new album! Dropped just a few days ago.

Atmos: 2nd Brigade (Spiral Trax 2004)

1. Raumwelt signal MP3
2. Al Bummer MP3
3. KNS MP3
4. Metro deluxe MP3
5. Umbau MP3
6. Scent of a tunnel MP3
7. Transmission in vain MP3
8. Ordinary weekend MP3

That's all folks!

Actually I'm fucking disappointed in the new Genetic Spin release. They've lost both style and touch.

It's not a bad album per se... Just not what I want from them.

That's okay man... I'm pretty happy with sound tech and design... It's just hard finding that kind of work where I currently live. But I guess that's been taken care of for now.

Yeah its a shame with Genetic Spin their old sound was more cool.... we can hope these Full On years will be over soon so we can go back to basic groovy stuff again :-)

But there are still some very great acts in denmark who keeps it minimal and groovy...

check PSYLESS GROOVE... one of the best minimal/groovy bands in Denmark

Amen to that. I hope they'll still be releasing out of Creamcrop... If not, I bet my ass they've sold out to get some cash coming in, because their new sound is completely without character. Just the same shit we've been hearing over and over again.

Yes totally..! I can't believe I haven't even mentioned Psyless Groove in this thread. Good stuff.

By the way... Do you have any idea of when the Drone album is supposed to drop? I've been waiting for what has seemed like ages since they dropped *this* EP. Igneous Sauria doing remixes and stuff... It's going to be killer.

Drone: Drastic Plastic (Candyflip 2003)

1. Drastic plastic
2. Red whisper
3. Eye doll
4. Contagious (Igneous Sauria Rmx)
